[s]Zulus are so melodramatic! !! What marries your "iphone" to the point under context?

You're trying to tell us your using an iPhone or what?
Zulus and insecurity. grin grin I feel genuine pity for you.

4 centuries of apartheid has rendered you into a self-doubting man who needs an electronic gadget to gauge his worth. SMH.

Now to the point, the second picture you posted is from your own country. I have posted it yesterday. And I have got more for you from south Africa [/s]

Nigeria: 29%
South Africa: 66%

THIS IS NOT A VALID REPLY

FACT:
Average (black) household income in south Africa: $8000
average household income in Nigeria: $6000

"lazy, undeducated slaves" earn more than Nigerias "educated, hardworking freemen"

Thus: Which would you rather be?

Oh Patrick, save yourself further humiliation and troubles.

South Africa is the most unequal country in the world because the vast number of Zulus are unemployable and are being paid peanuts. The average working black south African get 4,000 dollars annually. That's a fact. If it were any different there would have been no need for BEE , neither would south Africa be called the most unequal country in Africa and the world.

lol this guy thinks his opinion trumps facts?

South Africa has more unemployed - yet the Average household income is higher!!
But, lets look at poverty % by country:
South Africa - 16%
Nigeria - 53%
http://povertydata.worldbank.org/poverty/region/SSA

You say more than 60% of South Africans have no basic sanitation facilities?
Facts say otherwise:
Percentage of the population with acess to "improved" sanitation facilities (flushing toilets)
Nigeria: 29%
South Africa: 66%
http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SH.STA.ACSN

You say we strike over acess to piped water? Lets look at the facts:
Access to piped potable water % by country:
South Africa - 93%
Nigeria - 69%
http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SH.H2O.SAFE.ZS

South Africans earn more money, can actually sh1t in a toilet, and have better access to running water and are less likely to live in poverty - FACT

Yet again, you continue to grow pale in our shadow.

This is too easy, troll all you want boy - I have an arsenal of facts and every statement you make gives me the justification I need to paint the picture of just how pathetic your country is by comparison

Let me give you the head lines, Patrick.

The ANC government has been desperately issuing false figures and underrepresenting the true statistics for Deaths, HIV/AIDS prevalence, water availability and many more in south Africa. And many more independent observers are beginning to know the truth.

See link below on how Zuma and ANC claimed false water availability and supply for south Africa until they were busted.

https://africacheck.org/reports/claim-that-94-of-south-aclaim-that-94-in-sa-have-access-to-safe-drinking-water-doesnt-hold-water/

The average employable Zulu makes about 60,000 to 67,000 rands anually #fact.

1 US dollar equals 14 south African Rand.

The average Zulu makes 4,000 US dollars anually.

Falsification of figures have been your hallmark on this forum.

vandazulu, the drooling pseudo _imbecile.

The link says abject poverty is 20% and moderate poverty is 40%. I take the liberty to say abject poverty are destitutes and beggars and the moderate poor are the universally acceptable poor.

It is 40% in south Africa.

Don't be embarrassed, fool. That's even good news. After all 1 in 4 south Africans are jobless so the figure should be way higher.

But you know the ANC loves looking good on paper while reality tells a different story.

"Plans have reached advanced stages for the construction of another communications satellite by the National Space Research and Development Agency.

Investigation by our correspondent showed that the satellite would be designed by the Centre for Satellite Technology Development, one of the operational centres of the NASRDA, and constructed by an Italian firm, Thales Alenia Space.

It was learnt that the Nigerian space agency planned to build another radar earth observation satellite that would be able to overcome the challenges currently being faced by the country’s two earth observation satellites, NigeriaSat-2 and NigeriaSat-X.

The communications satellite being planned with Thales Alenia Space will be executed in close collaboration with Nigerian engineers at the CSTD, who are supposed to get hands-on experience in the construction of satellites......"

Wow I never knew Nigeria has the Largest % of children in Africa not attending school and that most of NE are not reflected in there statistics due to corruption, boko boy rebellion, religious and cultural issues
http://www.aworldatschool.org/country/nigeria

Girls are barred from going to school all over Nigeria. Schooling of girls are still not a universal right
http://m.voanews.com/a/how-girls-are-banned-from-nigerian-schools/2526405.html

Read this damning report by UNICEF on how over 10m of Nigerian children do not attend school
http://www.bellanaija.com/2014/05/19/10-million-nigerian-children-dont-attend-school-unicef/

Yet someone here say they are better then SA when even Burkina Faso, Chad and Niger is better then Nigeria.

You need to go burn your certificates. You can't even read and understand because of poverty. You guys paint yourself as the best educationally claiming you have the best schools but they impact nothing. I swear you won't make it Tru a Nigerian University.

4 April 2014

Poverty levels dropped in South Africa between 2006 and 2011, reaching a low of 20.2% for extreme poverty and of 45.5% for moderate poverty, according to the Poverty Trends in South Africa report released by Statistics SA on Thursday.

The report applies three measures of poverty, with extreme poverty defined in terms of a "food poverty line" below which people are unable to purchase enough food for an adequate diet.

Less extreme poverty is defined in terms of a "lower-bound poverty line", below which people can afford an adequate diet but would have to sacrifice food to purchase non-food items; and an "upper-bound poverty line" marking the level at which people can purchase both adequate food and non-food items.

The drop in poverty in the country, according to the report, translates to roughly 10.2-million South Africans living in extreme poverty (below the food line) in 2011, compared to 12.6-million in 2006; and 23-million living in moderate poverty (below the upper line), compared to 27.1-million in 2006.

In terms of the lower poverty line - higher than the food line but lower than the upper line - 32.3% of the population, or roughly 16.3-million people, were living in poverty in 2011, down from 42.2% or 20-million people in 2006. It is this line that the country's National Development Plan (NDP) uses in setting its ambitious target of eliminating poverty by 2030.

The report notes the dramatic impact the global financial crisis of 2008/09 had on the livelihoods of South Africa's poorest, with the number of people living below the food line jumping to 15.8-million in 2009 before dropping below 2006 levels again by 2011.

They are really suffering. Everything good in South Africa belong to white.

Read this first.

Most families in South Africa are too poor to even afford water for their own family members. Also most of the water that is found is South Africa is dirty and unusable for everyday things like cleaning, drinking, and bathing.

@iblawi this pictures are really disturbing. It shows you how much people are suffering.

Despite our rivary we should be matured enough to establish a limit to what we put online.

If those pictures are really South Africa then the South African Government needs to step up its game. I know people wont believe it but those kind of area does not exist largely in Nigeria, i know this because i have traveled widely in this country. That doesnt mean that Nigeria is better off. Its just as bad.

Nevertheless, we are all Africans we should use ALL medium at our disposal to make our Governmemt accountable for its actions or inactions. For making citizens suffer undue hardship.

Nigeria and South Africa are both leaders in African, well respected and looked-up-to by each other, Africa and the world at large.

South African bears the burden of alot of foreigners (Nigerians included) within its borders and southern African. Its the power-house of technical development and expertise in African and the world at large.

While Nigeria bears the burden of all west African economy. Chad, Niger, Mali and Libya are among the poorest countries in the world and Nigeria has the unenviable fate of being their neighbour, this puts considerable strain on our economy. Thats why the phrase ''if Nigeria sneeze, Africa catches a cold.''

If we combine South African technical expertise with Nigerian Human and financial resourses we could produce an explosion of true development which have the potential of pushing Africa to celestial heights.

Lets always remember that though we are rivals on nairaland, we are ALWAYS brothers in real life going through the same fundamental issues.

Viva Africa

I've removed the pics in order not to derail this thread further, but it's more disturbing when they pretend as if Nigerian are poorer than they are. I just wanted to show them things they claim not to know in their country. I've traveled to many states in Nigeria and I know the living standard of Nigerians is far better than that.
