ok Justwise, in filling my application online,i have notice a change in the visa type, there is no longer a section for General visitor but tourism and family.

i am going for a visit to my uncle in the united kingdom and do not know if to choose visit-tourism or visit-family.

Please help me out before filling the wrong thing.i am going for a 3 week visit..

That figure is not actually bad, just getting time off work is my problem because my boss will not give me early Xmas off.

really gutted as I wanted to spend Xmas in Nigeria this year, the last I did that was 2008 and I paid £700 for ticket then because I traveled on 29th of December

Oh no, dumb bosses eh, I would imagine it will be around the same price though as the dates i checked was about 12 weeks after Apho's visa application (seeing if I should go out and come back with him lol, i just have to think i need extra £300 for my visa sad )

I purposely work on Xmas days when I was a student because agencies were paying double the normal rate then and by doing that I don't get bothered about Xmas period loneliness but now ...oh well...

gurus in the house, where and how can I pay for my UK visa fee online
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by GoldCircle: 5:26pm On Nov 05, 2015
It appears GT Bank is the only platform that works. Ask someone with a GT Bank account to do so on your behalf.

If you have filled and submitted application, sign the declaration for; then go to "book appointment" after which you will be directed to the platform where you'll make payment using your bank card "pay for application"

Hope this helps.

No
Sorry but they take fraud very seriously.
Those things are tiny changes in your life.
Ten years means ten years.
and it will not be easy even after that.
Try for Shengen, Europe visa.

1 Very difficult.
2 Of course you will be stopped if caught by immigration.
3 Your records are on computer system for any official to see, and the information stays there for ever.

If you marry a citizen and can prove that it's a genuine and sustainable marriage. Occasionally right to family life too if you have children with a partner that is legally living in the UK.

prince1930:
2) if i get france student visa and travel by road 2 greet a friend in u.k,hope d banned wont affect me from entering u.k?

The UK isn't part of the Schengen zone so documents are checked at every entry point that exists - if driving it will be the Eurotunnel or the ferry ports. There's no avoiding this.

prince1930:
3) is dis ten years ban program on dere system?

Of course it is.

BTW, just thinking about this and your previous question: You obviously thought you could outsmart them by submitting fake documents as part of your visa application. Do you seriously think you can outsmart them now and effectively attempt to enter the UK illegally? You're playing with fire my friend - they take this VERY seriously - and if you're not immediately deported and returned to France at the POE, you'll find yourself locked up in an immigration detention center before being sent back to Naija. Don't try it!
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by worry359(m): 7:50am On Nov 07, 2015
As stated above by GEEK
You have made a bad mistake using fake documents.
This could also affect any attempt to get a USA visa or even Shengen.

Others should learn from this! grin
