Ok oooo
I don't see Nigeria better than this, with this kind of present leadership structure.
When a state can't even pay workers salary (which is supposed to be normal). How will the state embark on any World class projecthuh

Abuja is better managed, the streets are well lined & illuminated , & lanes demarcated...

Legend has it that the ND militancy sprang from their rented crowd visit to Abuja during the 1 million man march for Abacha .... That they saw what oil wealth was doing in the north & they went batshit crazy... grin cheesy
And you believe the legend?? shocked

Exactly! I don't know why this aspect is often ignored in Nigeria. A road is constructed and within 1-2 years, the road markings get wiped off due to environmental factors, and no one bothers to ensure those marks are painted back.

In a few southern African countries, reflective road markers and paint are used to demarcate lanes on the highway. Once your headlights hit the reflective markers you get a clear indication of the perimeter, even when there are no street lamps to illuminate the roads.
The annoying thing about Nigeria's ugly roads is that politicians spend millions/billions on them without beautifying their landscape.

And nincompoops (I'm also guilty of this) presents the roads as if they're god's gift to nigeria.

Egbon, been planning to ask .... Is it true that the reason Orobo baby is giving LASU top job to awon Romanis is cos our people couldn't agree on one person & in order not to align with any camp, he chose a "stranger"huh

I don't believe that story, Ambo is just trying to curry goodwill from people who are not worth the sacrifice. .
