I do same for my staffs. Those who work in bigger places have become resources for the organization. I even stand as referee for them.

so I as a Manager in my office sent an advert link to one of my team's whatsapp group. And most guys were like: the office wants to shut down??
Had to have another round of explaining to them that there's more they can achieve than where they currently are. Your boss sees the potential in you, don't disappoint him. Apply and get the job and he will be proud he made an impact in your life.
