I can't remember the last time I withdrew from an ATM with my Payoneer card. The rates @justi4jesu will give you are better than any rate you can get through the ATM. Also as good as what you will get through the black market if you choose to do wire transfer to your Dom acct.

I however leave small amounts of dollars in the Payoneer card for use in online purchases. I have nevernever had any problem with the card since December last year I started using it.

That care is being Hacked left and right... I dont know how they do it but too many complains and its wise for anyone to do it the way you do it-- leave small change there. Otherwise, you can wake up one morning and dem don use ur card do kparo.

Aaaah, KDP is not profitable any more. It used to be in those days, until Indie authors flooded the platform with their fluffs. The only way you can make money on it is to promote your e-books constantly and you may need to spend money to achieve that. Also, the taxes they collect on book sales is much. But, you can give it a try. I don't think it is possible to combine the two together. You need to focus on the best option.

This Payoneer card fraud business just started about 6 months ago.

They claim it's card skimming issues from Nigerian ATMs but we all know this is a flat lie.

This is an internal fraud scheme within their ranks.

If there are card skimming machines around, all my local bank cards will have been hit with the same fraudulent charges by now.

I've never had such an incident with my locally issued visa/mastercards EVER!


Needless to say I have dumped my Payoneer card.

I'm on both platforms o and its quite tough. I have about 12 ebooks on Kdp and ithough I don't make much but I like the idea of making something every month whether I work or not. Freelancer doesn't seem to be working well for me. I can't seem to verify my account. I have tried all possible means.

Google your bank's swift code and you'll get it.Take note that the swiftcode of your bank is one and only for all the branches . You do not need to go to your branch to ask for it. You have to input the swiftcode and head office address of your bank. It's just easy and after that you are good to go. To me, this process is the best and the easiest way of withdrawing your cash from freelancer.

You can cope on both. You simply have to see both as one. Adequate planning and time management is pararmount.

Tough one. Well, since the mistake has been made you have to wait till she creates the milestone before sending any completed job. Please, DO NOT send any until she does. Also if she refuses to and keeps ignoring you, you can chat with customer care. Explain your position to them. Tell them you are new and made a mistake of not insisting on a milestone creation and that the employer has refused responding. They might consider you.

Hmmm, so unfortunate bro. If the lady refuses to reply after another week. Chat up customer care of FL, they MAY refund your project fee.

When I was a newbie, I once accepted a USD1, 200 project without milestone and my account was showing - USD120. After I discovered it was a scam, I contacted customer care and they refunded the cash. I was told to be careful next time cos every FL is entitled to a ONE TIME refund of project fees.

Frankly, I stopped using the card ages ago, because the rate was a rip off. I still had it and used it though for backup and emergencies.

I've been using WIREs a long time on freelancer. Most cost effective (even with the $50 charge). PayPal is also a possibility if you have a means of withdrawing from that PayPal.

Meanwhile, I am in the process of signing up for Global Bank Transfer via Payoneer. Will update you guys on the outcome. This should effectively reduce my $50 wire charges to $25 or $35, lets see.

For those finding it difficult to verify their identity on freelancer. You can use your voters card to do that by uploading a clear picture of your voters card, both front and back, and then select National ID card as your verification mode, upload a clear picture of you holding your voters card and keyword.
It worked for me.
