MTN is now synonymous to fraud, scam, confusion. Dumping their sorry arse because browsing just got sweeter. See my signature.

Orikinla:
Majority of MTN subscribers are also subscribers of Glo, Airtel and Etisalat. So, if MTN goes, life goes on in Nigeria. The other GSM networks can absorb their staff. The population of GSM users in Nigeria is not up to 80 million, because the subscribers are the same people using MTN, Glo, Etisalat and Airtel. MTN includes me among their subscribers and Glo does the same. So, when you count the numbers of users of GSM phones, you cannot count me twice. I can even bet that 90% of subscribers of MTN are the same subscribers of Glo, Airtel and Etisalat.

Spot on!

Some people are supporting the government now. When MTN will start dropping staff in the name of cost savings or reduction, the same tongue will say MTN is wicked. Government should think twice.

Great decision

- executive level has to be cleaned out without compensation
- management level has to be flushed without compensation
- senior staff level has to be reduced

This is harsh

Hypocrites! I smell hypocrites all over these thread. Some peeps here slamming MTN haven't even registered their own MTN sim. If MTN decides to block them now, you'll see them whyning & complaning. I can bet y'all that hundreds of the people, mtn spared during this time have commented on topics like this, saying how incompetent MTN is yet they themselves have refused to do the needful. Hypocrites!
