very right the president has the power to appropriate duties to people according to the provisions of the constitution specifically in S148(1) of the 1999 CFRN and by virtue of the interpretation act he has the power to hire and fire.

The president is the chief executive, Inotherwords, he is the minister of all ministry

so, should he deem it fit to take any portfolio for himself, he is always right

public service of the Federation,and I do not see anything Wrong “if the president
exercise the power directly by retaining the office
of the minister of petroleum, I do not see anything
wrong in it At All!
