I think the uneducated ones are throwing the ad hominems already . I said from my researches done , here are three interpretations . Meaning those were seen from different perspectives . And I didnt even include the allegorical one . I didnt reach a conclusion and I mentioned someone who explained a particular perspective better .

Why does God's word need 3 different interpretations? Why can't the word of a God that wants people to get tp knoq him and be in a relationship with him not be very clear? Humans as confused as they are sometimes make very clear cut messages. Why can't the word of this God of yours be as clear as the multiplication table? good point. except there probably was no concept for sorry then. they had just been created. they didn't know how sorry worked. the tree didn't give them good manners. only made them wiser.
observe children. they instinctively learn to shift blame without you teaching them. same thing with fairly intelligent animals. you have to teach them to take responsiblity. humans know this. you have to teach kids to say sorry, please, and thank you. being "wise" doesn't give you that.

Again I said those were three interpretations , showing that there were studies that forth those three interpretations . Either way it does not stop me from believing in God . Since God is real however He must have chosen to create the world is true . As simple as ABC . You guys make it seem complicated but it has never been . God wants us to study his works - nature and life - and unveil several mysteries , whether through science , philosophy , theology etc . God did it , but just find out how .
