has anyone noticed that anytime this land grabbers want to open threads like this they would start listing out as much anti-igbo members as much as they can, while if u make any pro-igbo stance u are called a migrant from the east. Ur rants can never matter no matter how much u ijaws wail, cry or die, Igbos would continue to be part and parcel of the ss amd Niger delta till the end of time. |

madenigga:My brother when many of us were drumming it into the ears of the SE Igbos not to include the Ijos into their republic they thought we were daft. Had we had Lower Niger Congess it may have been feasible. The best bet of the Igbo is to remain in Nigeria and fight for their interest even deceptively till Nigeria ends on its own. The Ijaws will always have landgrabbing and aggressive linings towards the Igbos. This is because they have scarce lands and are always eyeing Igbo areas to make up for what they lack. The Niger-Delta republic is just a tool to achieve that aim. I pity some of my brothers who still see these folks as allies. Your close allies for now are the north and to an extent the SW. You guys should learn politics and play it with your head and not your heart like Zik. Those of us who hail from Rivers know the antics of the Ijos like the back of our palm. The few years we spent under Ijo dominated Rivers was tortuous and hellish. That even Saro Wiwa became overwhelmed and started his agitation for an Ogoni only state devoid of Ijo wickedness. This is his lamentations. http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/34a/049.html www.nairaland.com/2693632/between-ijaws-rivers-minorities-ken Our salvation was when these folks were dumped into Bayelsa state. We give thanks to Abacha, Ebitu Ukiwe, Zik and Obi Wali who was hacked to death in the cause of our liberation. The Ikwerres can testify this. |

Pls. Igbos and ijaws are not enemies, at least not the present generation. The statements made by few ijaws against d igbos and igbos against ijaws are personal/political positions. Pls, I urge igbos and 'Nairaland' ijaws to sheate their swords. We are brothers and we shouldn't succumb 2 'divide and rule' antics of political harlots and online impostors. |

Plz se/ss are Negbours and we share many things in common I am an igbo man from Imo state doing my business in Abuja I regard any south south be u Ijaw, delta or Calabar as my brothers and will always protect their interest I don't regard this online enemity as an icon for our disunity United we strive and succeed The North regard them selves as north and push for Northern a gender despite there are three legion ne/nw/nc |

mrsuccessful:Keep deluding urself. Am also an Ikwerre man. Nigerians living in America protest in America. Nobody screams my state or my country. Ur generations (not mine) will live 2 regret it IF u lose d trust and support of ur Igbo brothers. Our leaders/elders have realised this, that is why they r quiet about d protests. Ur disillusionment starts when oil dries up. Then u will understand life. |

I discover that Some people ranting here against their Negbours may be residing in their respective states travel out to south West or North and enquire how average Northerners or yeruba,s feel about us An average Northern man doesn't regard any thing ss/se to them we are all igbo, s if an Ijaw man causes problem or riot in the North it will affect the igbo, s because to them nothing like south south but igbo, s that is why till today the North always regard Goodluck Jonathan as an igbo man that is why they collide and throw him out of government believing they have dealt with igbo people |

Ijaws- the new Fulani scoundrels of Southern Nigeria..the recent expansionist proclivities of this ogogoro drinking/creek dwelling lazy clowns is surely more than meet the eyes...we Igbos need to unite more with our kith and kin in the so called SS! we need to make them know we care about them and will defend the pride of Ndigbo in any part of Nigeria if need be!!This people are neglected and left to their fate; thus making them easy targets for fifth columnist bastards who are Hell bent on sewing the seed of discord among them, deny them off their true Igbo identities by all means possible, and put a final wedge between the "SS" Igbos and the SE with their usual gaffe of suddenly forcing them into their Niger Delta joke( I wonder when the average Ijaw man and his cronies suddenly started caring so much about their Igbo speaking counterparts?)something sure doesn't add up ...WE NEED TO WATCH OUT FOR THIS DESPICABLE LEECHES, THEY ARE MORE DANGEROUS THAN EVEN THE FULANI HERDSMEN!!! Ndigbo ronu ooo( had to borrow the thinking clarion call of the yeribas on this one) |
