Men today wasn't easy. I discovered that all these Chinese roms won't allow update to miui 7. I had to flash twrp and installed the weekly updates from there. Not easy but it's done

Please I tried flashing my phone with the latest miui7 ROM but it keeps on telling me authentication failed and then the ROM file is corrupt just after updating.. How am I to go about it please?

There are two roms on that site, the stable rom and the developer rom,if you downloaded the stable one and it won't update,giving you authentication error,then download the developer rom and flash.

Boot to recovery.. Wipe data and caches then off your phone & on it....it should help

I have done that..I wiped cache and user data but the same issue.I have wasted up to 2gb downloading different versions of miui7 but the same issue

Same thing happened to me. I had to root and flash through twrp. That's the only way out

Does it mean that sometimes stable rom won't work & this would force someone to flash developers rom? hhhhmmmn! What could be the cause of this problem Kulimart? Not everybody has time for weekly updates!

The site you downloaded the ROM from has list of ROMs for all xiaomi phone. Hermes is the codename for the redmi note 2.

KULIMART! My pre-order for Redmi Note 2 Prime has been confirmed today at last . But like how many days/weeks will it take for its availability? However, upon the phone's shipment after payment, is at pick-up station that one gets the phone/it would be brought to ones address?

Nonetheless, you are always saying flashing of xiaomi phone is very easy ........ But how? it's not everybody that can stand risk/is ready to do things without well explained details. Captions explanation(s) will do alot of good for Kulimart (being a new mall) in terms of market spread, customers gain & sustenance based on my experience. I shop with Jumia always and it was because this mall never had this phone that made me further surfed & came across Kulimart. Please, put my opinion into consideration
