Congrats DanjaNinja.

And you were right about reading the body language of the VO to mean continue talking. With Americans, there is a lot of body language. It's all about body language in this country. Communicating with Americans involves about 60% talking and 40% body language.

In our country and culture, body language is sometimes looked at but emphasis is not really placed on one's body language when discussing with someone. Here in the US, it is different! Different body actions mean one thing or the other to Americans and you have to be careful when talking to them! Or else they'll interpret your speech for something else!

Believe me, I learned the hard way. grin

Exactly, it would tell you when you're being a jerk or making sense. Body language works well even during job interviews. It works well

It's not a must that it has to be colored. It can be black and white. But you can go with a colored one.

Thank God the school already knew me personally and had built a very good relationship with them.

Obviously, I wanted to contact my friend once again for a guy here on this thread whom Valpo hasn't replied yet but had to hold on when I noticed something was wrong.

Let them mess that beautiful school up. Some Nigerians are silly. They keep on spoiling things for other people.

This sort of bullshit happens when you publicize something good out there but unfortunately some guys will take stiff advantage of that in a negative way, so stop telling them.
that should be me I guess.. Noticed something was wrong like what bros?

i guess a lot of fake transcripts were submitted cos according to the email they sent they said everyone should send their transcripts to education USA for verification.. I don't know if that's enough way to discourage the fake naija students... But well, have contacted my undergraduate sch, they'll send d transcript as requested

Your chances of being admitted depends on the pedigree of the school, and the strength of your profile as a whole.
3.0 of 5.0 right?
First, you should search for schools that offer admissions in your prospective graduate program. A thorough google search should suffice for this.
Second, your undergraduate CGPA would likely come down to a 2.7-2.9 on a 4.0 scale. This means you'll have to apply to schools with less than a 3.0/4.0 GPA requirement.
Third, you may be required to write standardized test(s) depending on the schools you'll be applying to. However, regardless the requirements of the schools, it is recommended you write ATLEAST one standardised test (say the TOEFL), to ascertain your readiness & seriousness in pursuing graduate studies during visa interview.

So, do yourself some good. Look into your profile and interests, search for schools that are a perfect fit. If you come across any problems along the line, there are lots of selfless & kind individuals here that would answer to your questions.

Admission decision is made within two weeks after receiving your complete documents.

You don't have to wait. Please apply elsewhere.

Hi everyone, I wanna thank the creator of this thread this is a wonderful thread and thanks to all the contributors. well to God be the glory visa was approved today 6:30 am appointment. I wont say is by my practice or cramming but it was God, God did it all. ever since I knew abt dis thread and when I see people's testimony I always key in that I will share my own too and God made it possible. I cant really explain what I told the VO today but the only thing I know was that I was confident and I looked straight into her eyes even when I was stammering and God made me find favour in her sight.

my transcript

VO: Gud morning with a smiling face
Me: Hi gud morning with a smiling face as well
VO: why did you choose the branch campus over the main campus
Me: during my application process, I inquired abt the population of the school cos I needed where I will be able to concentrate and have easy interaction with the professors and I was tld the branch campus population is lower than that of the main so I decided to go to the branch campus.
VO: how many unit course will u be doing
Me: 56 units
VO: will u be writing thesis or projects
Me: projects
VO: What is your project topic
Me: for now I dnt knw until I get der but my focus is on decision making cos my kind of job requires me to advice my clients on how to improve on their business so is possible I choose a topic on decision making.
VO: do you have any professional exams (cos I said am an auditor)
Me: I dnt have for now until after my MBA but I have registered
VO: pick up your visa at soooo address
Me: Thanks Ma.

above all pray very well b4 going for Visa interview don't have total confidence in yourself just bliv is only God dat can do it and practice all the questions and knw more abt ur program. that's how God did it for me. Did I forget to tell u the VO didn't ask for any document even when I didn't go with my credentials. that was GOD.

I may be wrong, but so far, I've only cited two schools in US here offering that program. 1. Eastern Mnemonite University, Virginia. 2. University of Notre Dame, Indiana. Both are christian university, quite expensive and Notre Dame acceptance rate is low. Check them out yourself.

Well, this program most times are usually offered as a concentration under MBA program. But to the best of my knowledge, ETSU offers this program under Engineering Technology (Entrepreneurial Management).
