Hello mommas, M a FTM. My Bambino is 3weeks plus and I am exclusively breastfeeding her, but she sleeps off 5 minutes into breastfeeding but still suckles on the breast whilst sleeping. I am worried, I hope she is getting enough milk this way cause to me sha, she isn't adding weight as I expect her to have . I am tempted to introduce formula cause I really don't know what else to do... |

mummy2be:Are both breasts affected? If no then you don't have to stop breastfeeding. Breastfeed him from the unaffected boob and express the infected one( throw it away). I've had to deal with mastitis 3x now and was even told to continue breastfeeding. It cleared within a week & I never stopped breastfeeding. I suggest you see another Dr & read up mastitis. 4 Likes |

kendlez:Stop using any form of oil on his head watch it for 1 week and see if the rashes will fade away. My LO had similar when he was a few weeks old and his pead advised same, within a week the rashes reduced and eventually disappeared. If you need to apply anything on the hair/head, use vaseline or sheabutter for now 2 Likes |

tchiwinnie:The company that imports the original sebamed in Naija is Thompson and grace pharmaceuticals. They are somewhere in masha surulere. On sebamed's website, it's written there. So anytime you wanna buy it in Naija, look out for the company's name on it with nafdac number. For those in abuja, you can get original from health plus or H Medix. There is fake everywhere 1 Like |

Wat I did wen my lo did dat was to slip dat breast she rejected into ha mouth while sleepy (an advise I got wen I googled it nd it worked) nd she took it well, but d moment she realised it she removed ha mouth but at least she sucked enof to reduce engorgement. Afta a while she adjusted nd started taking d rejected breast. stadora: 1 Like |

Please sabi mamas, help me with suggestions. My DD just started crying unprovoked. She has been crying like up to 3 times for some days now. It was worse yesterday, she was just crying loudly even though she was the same person playing few seconds before then. I don't understand this at all. I'm so confused. She even woke up around 2am today and started crying again. I gave her milk and she went back to sleep. I'm sure it's not hunger, she didn't fall, just nothing. Please, what could be the cause and what steps can I take to stop this? She will be a year old in few days. |
