Based on results released at the Local Government level, Abubakar Audu of the All Progressives Congress has won the Kogi State governorship election, beating incumbent Governor Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party.


Results released from Kogi West senatorial district show that the APC candidate won six LGAs as against one won by the PDP candidate.
In Kogi East, Audu also trounced Wada by winning six out of the nine LGAs while in Kogi Central he beat his PDP rival by winning three out of the five LGAs.

Congrats to Audu. Most people have been saying that the two candidates are evil. Anyway, they're entitled to their opinion. Hadn't been APC fielded another candidate, they would have lost woefully to Wada. The only man who can stand Wada aside Audu is Echocho. Hopefully, Audu would handover to somebody from Kogi Central (Ebira) or Okun area (Kogi West) come 2019. If they still wanna continue with Igala as their Governor, I'm sure Echocho would be the best choice.

Ebira or okun, could be given the PDP wada's ticket b4. He didn't deserve it as at when PDP was claiming only national party.
He didn't do anything, the likes of Labour party and co. Nailed the coffin.

Pls learn to separate SS from SE when talking about Biafra. Biafra is different from Niger Delta.

So Igala has been ruling Kogi since 1999? I like fairness and hope APC and PDP field only Egbira or Okun candidate in 2019 for justice and equity.
