HCpaul:Okay oooooo THE gospels of Matthew , Mark , and Luke are referred to as the SYNOPTIC Gospels because they include many of the same stories, often in a similar sequence and in similar wording. They stand in contrast to John , whose content is comparatively distinct. |

ODUBEZE:Your points are increased above. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are all termed "Gospels." But however, the first three books obviously share a common writing system and structure, and are also similar in style, pattern, and content layout and yet apparently different from the fourth book of the Gospel, and are henced described and framed as the "Synoptic Gospels." These documentations (writings) are not meant to be biographies (auto-biographies), historical novels, and fictitious tales, but rather are the impressions of Jesus by men of faith for men of faith (Confessions of faith). A casual comparison of these books will reveal that they look suspiciously similar (identical). They have a common subject matter. Meaning, they both tell the story of how Jesus of Nazareth travelled about Palestine after the imprisonment of John the Baptist, preaching and his miraculous deeds. Also, the Synoptic Gospels strikingly possess identical wording. They have a common order of events, but yet there are remarkable differences. Matthew and Mark are the best illustration for the explanations above. |

ODUBEZE:Am sorry, just trying to prevent the explanations from being too long and boring. Just write anything that can attract and stagnate readability. Your reward will never be eluded and your trophy will be presented with an eternal weight of glory. |
