The same subsidy that they said PDP government couldn't remove or the one Oshiomole fought OBJ for when OBJ wanted to remove it? The problem is, they used all dirty tricks in the bag to campaign against PDP and now those obvious anomalies in government is staring them right in the face and they have no option but to do it the way PDP wanted to do it.

Ofcourse, they can invite Mr President but he will send Kachikwu(Min of State) or a Special Adviser or even a Perm Sec represent him. Obasanjo did it(he sent an SA to respond to House summon), Yar'adua did it, Jonathan did it(he sent Diezianni) and Diezani did it(She ignored them at a point). There is nothing they can do about it!

The solution is to remove the subsidy. #nostory

For what? The plans to address scarcity is common knowledge. The FG has asked for supplementary budget from which over 400billion naira is to be paid for subsidy and the Senate is to approve that. Also open bidding was recently done by NNPC for those involved in our crude to get the most capable and better deals after the cancelled swaps. This is unlike when we didn't know what Diezani and NOI were doing and they didn't even care.

Buhari " I don't know what is subsidy ". But immediately PMB entered office, Subsidy held his leg. Now PMB believes, knows, greets and acknowledges subsidy.
But while we buy fuel at superfluous price, who benefits. Is it subsidy or PMB. This corruption is more gigantic than what happened in the last regime. Billions of naira are robbed off Nigerians everyday because we use over 40 million litres per day.

We should also ask the Senators why it has taken them so long to approve the Fuel Subsidy funds.

Ask yourself first whether OBJ appear before the senate for petroleum related matters during his tenure.. or rather why shud he appear before senate when it wasn't the senate that screened him for the job..
