the constitution does not specifically provide for it, the Electoral act does find a way but it isnt expressly stated...
Besides it need not be the runner up, a contestant is enough

you no you amassed me saying an Ebira man can't rule Kogi state. my question is: Is Kogi state meant for igala alone that you think another tribe or Kogi central in particular can't rule Kogi state?

It is the turn of Ebira son to become Kogi State Governor. Thank God We have capable hand in person of Yahaya Bello.

Ebira people deserve nothing less than the Governor of Kogi State. Where was Igala when the former Inspector of Police Aliyu Attah and Chief of Army staff Salihu Ibrahim fought for the creation of the state under Babangida Regime.

Enough is Enough ,Igala should allow Ebira to have a taste

Provided also other arrangements such as zoning are not breached. I am not from Kogi
but my friend are there and I love their ajakpa

If we recalled, they vowed that 'no black' would ever become President of united states. Obama broke that jinx. same can happen in kogi.

since we are era of change. Whoever feels is capable 2 fill d vacuum should step up and make the difference, irrespective of they religious difference or clan they came from. except they are cowards and want 2 remain where they are. put sentiment aside

I don't get. Is it the same Yahaya Bello who actively campaigned for PDP during the election? Cause that anti party activities he demonstrated very much disqualifies him as a replacement. He played 4k each to voters from Okene local government to vote Wada of PDP. Even the party is aware as I heard over the radio today on political platform

Yahaya Bello that came second would easily have taken the position. If only he had known! But he openly canvassed for the PDP during the elections and spent huge sums of money for the PDP and didnt contribute any quota to APC's leading Votes. Morally, should not even benefit from the votes already secured by APC

I would have suggested that Yahaya Bello replaces him. But he's from Kogi Central and the Igalas would hardly vote (for) him. It would be better if APC conducts another Primaries and open door for new Aspirants like Jubrin Isah Echocho. Aside the late Audu, that's the only man who I feel can stand Wada in Igala land.
