the AGF goofed on this issue, he should have requested for a judicial interpretation from Supreme court, this would have prevented series of litigation that will cost the nation more.

The Supreme cannot hear this case now.

One thing i have notice here is that people seem to be fighting for their various ethnic groups not minding if what they are doing is right morally or constitutionally, people find means to twist things in their favour
Now to the topic, does the Nigeria constitution recognize a dead man standing for an elective position?
Personally what i think they should be deliberating on is if the ticket issue to audu/falake is still valid or not considering d death audu

Personally, I think the election should be concluded without any candidate replacement. If Faleke/APC eventually emerges winner, then he can pick a deputy.

I am from Kogi State and I happen to be an Igala man. I don't see anything wrong with Faleke becoming the Governor of Lagos state. They should better give him what he owns and stop this ridiculously planned tactics to sideline him.

Considering a simple fact that one can not vote without a PVC and that the number of voters (about 33000) with PVC in the affected 91 polling units is less than the commanding lead(about 41000) established by Audu/Faleke ticket, there was no basis for INEC to declare the election inconclusive. APC won the election and as such in the eye of law Audu and Faleke were already Governor-elect and deputy governor-elect respectively. With the demise of Audu, Faleke is constitutionally empowered to be sworn in as the substantive governor.

Faleke has a strong case.

But God forbid..what if another candidate put forwrd by APC either Faleke or any1 at all also dies before final results after the Dec 6 supplementary election?? what will happen again........Uhmm some people sha cos of greed and love of money( not love to trully serve the massess who voted them in) can risk their lives.If any one of these aspirants is sensitive and conscious He will just pull out totally and sit back and enjoy his life and watch how it all plays out......at least if there is life there is hope and another 4 years will soon be here..just my thought though.But may God forbid bad thing ooo

they can hear it at the beginning. it's called Judicial Interpretation which is always filed by the office of the AGF.
It's not a case of plaintiff and defendants, the AGF will just ask for interpretation of the law.
