Court Issues are being done with evidences.
Such a girl may be raped but she will not have evidence, so the Court will set the rapist free and charge the girl with false accusation.
Incase such an issue arises, the girl should be fined hugely but Jail? NO

The rape case is one of the most complicated issues to solve, even at the court of law. I recently listened to a barrister during one of the campaigns against rape on campus and he said the Law is quiet in situations whereby a guy is a victim of rape and that it is not even easy to validate that someone is truly rapist.


A situation whereby atleast a witness is expected to testify at the court of law,

A test must be conducted at a government hospital to back the case.


However, the issue the Op is talking about is another case suffering from the gap in Nigerian Law and constitution.

haba, a guy may rape a girl, bt according to court procedures, without evidences, the court will grant the rapist freedom and the girl will be charged with FALSE ACCUSATION.

For the fact that the victim needs solid evidences to justify his assertion doesn't mean that such can't/don't exist.


So, that's why I'm of the opinion that your post terming it as a mistake is born out of prejudice.

in law, for example If a guy rapes a girl and the matter iz brought b4 court, if the girl do not have evidence the guy will be set free.
