Faleke is being clever by half. He should realise that deputy governors are spare tires. The reality is that the Taraba case is still fresh. He never participated in the APC primares. If APC adopts him, they will lose it in the tribunal. Wada of PDP doesn't have a case because he didn't get 25% in 2/3 of the LGA. Faleke should hope that Bello who came second in the prinaries and had been rightly adopted by APC retains him as the Deputy Governor. This case is simply a case of doctrine of necessity. Legal opinion is more than 90% in favour of APC position. PDP would have done the same. Besides they have been in power for 16 years. Why didn't they forsee this scenario while crafting the electoral act. I so submit.

Yahaya Bello may have engaged in anti party activities or failed to support Audu BUT the issue goes beyond morality and emotions. He, unfortunately, is the safest choice for APC not to lose the governorship to PDP. That's life.

Yahaya Bello is a wise man.......silence is the best answer in this situation.....the more u talk the more u put urself in trouble.....it is still not yet clear to the Igalas/Faleke that it is God at work. Suddenly Faleke and Audu's son are now on dsame page. SMH, THE IGALAS HAVE SUDDENLY DECIDED TO BECOME SECOND TO SOMEONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE STATE, SOMEONE WHOM THEY ACCUSED OF KILLING AUDU. The wisest thing Faleke should do now is to complete the election as a deputy candidate with anyone APC chooses as governorship candidate cos in truth, you can't be elevated to the governorship candidate when elections HAVE NOT been completed.

After the election, just approach the court with a suit against INEC and not APC, that the elections shouldn't have been inconclusive. He would likely win the case and be made governor elect. This is the constitutional way left for him

In the eyes of the law, Audu had not been elected as at the time he died. Therefore, Faleke had not become a deputy governor elect.
