Is APC trying to tell us that Faleke (as much as I don't like him) did not contribute to Audu's votes? This is broad daylight robbery. A running mate in an election also has his own loyalists and in this case I'm sure Faleke contributed more than 50,000 votes which if added to PDPs votes would have changed the outcome of that election. 5 Likes |

The supplementary poll slated for Saturday was a declaration of ethnic war against the Okun people of Kogi State.“It is immoral to bring Yahaya Bello, who worked against the party, to reap the work of Audu and Faleke. APC has shown that it is worse than PDP andwe will fight this case with the last drop of our blood. Faleke who is a joint ownership of November 21st votes with late Audu should step into his boss shoes. Nothing more. 4 Likes 1 Share |

It is morally unright to look for another deputy. If another deputy should be taken then the election should be cancelled so that YAHAYA and his new deputy should sort for their own vote my take 1 Like |

I hope Faleke has withdrawn from the election? He should not for any reason accept to be deputy to Bello. I hate cheating! 1 Like |

Abayhormy: not different from Muslims in the North who claim that Boko Haram members are not Muslims, but if you ask them whats the population of Muslims in their areas, Boko Haram members are counted. Yorubas are seen as expendables after using their numbers to achieve a political aim. When it comes to the population of the 19 Northern States, they are counted but when it comes to political posts sharing they are not wanted. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Unekz: you are saying craps, but injustice cannot continue forever, you can see that the oil rich south south/south east are beginning to revolt. The UN has filled their appeal , and all this wouldn't have happened if a true referendum and Federalism had been adopted. When there is no balance in any society, there are bound to be fault-lines. Nigeria will surely disintegrate if attention is not paid to our fault-lines, and corrections made. |

sunnyking001:you are very right , let they conduct a fresh free and fair election and let see if yaya bello can score half of wot he got from the primary ,we even thought that he will be different from other ebira due to his success in business and that name (fair plus ) na him confuse us ' we never knew the blood of ebira still flow in him ( he was defeated during the APC primary and after then he started working against apc ) believe me there is no Ebira man that will not do that because it flow in their blood(if I no eat then nobody go eat too ) ,Ebira has course a lot of go-slow to many Kogi graduate seeking for job out side the state 'once u go for interview and u were bein ask of ur state of origin and u tell them Kogi state, there will first ask if you are ebira ! Not only that ' ask any driver in Nigeria about okene ; there are always careful and mindful once there are in okene even if driver forget ,passenger go remind de driver say na okene we dey o ; this is how there will start narrating how okene people behave like goat ,in okene okada rider will occupy the Center of road not minding whatever that is coming from behind and once they hit him down " burning kaynaa!! Psalm18:IF THEY SHOULD GET NEW GUBERNETORIAL CANDIDATE AND ALSO GET A NEW RUNNING MATE, ON WHICH MANDATE ARE THEY GOING TO BE SWORN IN ASSUMING THE COURT DECLARE APC THE WINNING PARTY? DON'T YOU THINK THAT IT AS BECOME UNFAIR TO PDP? What apc is doing is like presenting two candidate against one single opponent for a single contest. |

told them that he's an economic assassin, but they claimed his integrity will block loopholes. We told them that he's corrupt just like his fellow croonies, but they claimed he never stole a dime. We told them he's old, dull and slow, but they said they preferred a dullàrd that created Western Germany and President Mitchell's to a PhD holder that transformed the Agricultural sector of the economy. We told them he doesn't have the moral standard, will and the technological knowhow to tackle corruption, but they claimed even witch hunting is fighting corruption. We told them he's full of lies and deciet, but they hoped on the mirage NGN5,000 salary for the jobless and one meal pa day for their kids. We told them that since he knew nothing about fuel subsidy, then he knows nothing about the petroleum industry/sector of the Nigerian economy but they claimed he'll stabilize world oil price and reduce PMS price to NGN40 per litre. We told them he has no respect for the rule of law, but they claimed the judiciary was corrupt. We told them his government is usually marked with heavy job losses and too harsh economic policies but they said they preferred to be jobless in a change government than to be gainfully employed in a Transformation government. We told them he is not as humble as he looks but they said he had only NGN1million and 150 cows. We told them that he's too old to govern, they claimed our youths are wasted generations. We told them he doesn't have a certificate, they said he can use his NEPA bill. We told them he's vindictive, but they said as far as they are concerned, he can employ all his family members, relatives and well wishers into his cabinet, even if they have no formal education, as long as they deliver. We told them he's an enemy of democracy, they claimed they prefer his autocracy to the Nigerian Democracy. We told them he's not humble but only a pretender, they said he'll sell off the presidential jets in order to cut cost of governance. We told them he doesn't care about the Nigerian citizens, but they claimed he belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody, even though his appointments were mainly for the north, he embarks on fruitless journeys and speaks only to BBC Hausa. We told them he supported Boko Haram, they told us that even if they found him in a meeting with Shekau and co, that wouldn't stop them from voting him. We asked for any tangible thing he's done for the country after staying away from government for so long, they claimed it didn't matter. We told him to get up from honeymoon and hit the ground running, but they called us wailers.. Finally, we told them he's a scam, but they shouted Sai Baba! Behold Nigerians, here is your much desired change! |

frisky2good: BROS U DONT UNDERSTAND, THIS IS ALL THE FAULT OF INEC AND NOT APC, INEC MADE A DECISION AND APC IS MAKING SURE THEY FOLLOW THE RULE OR THEY LOSE OUT. HENCE THE INTRODUCTION OF YAHAYA BELLO. PEOPLE MAY NOT LIKE HIM BUT HE IS THE SAFEST OPTION APC CAN GO WITH UNLESS INEC CHANGES ITS MIND ABOUT THE DECISION FIRST MADE. |

jomoh: A lot of school boys view on Nairaland is affecting my interest.these days Why do we always attribute conspiracy once we do not like a decision?. (I just tire), must APC take a decision that is against the electoral act, just to satisfy Falake. The courts have established in various cases, that for any one to be declared Gov he must have gone through primaries. Falake did not go through APC or PDP or KOWA primaries, unfortunately since Audu was not declared outright as winner by Inec, Falake cannot be sworn in. Now, the argument that the vote margin of 41000 is more than 25000 or so pvc in the cancelled polling units, hence Falake should ve been declared winner though sweet to the ear, cannot be the right and legal thing to do. Our electoral Act does not recognise PVC or the number of voters with PVC, what it does recognise is THE NUMBER OF REGISTERED VOTERS in the cancelled polling units, which in this instance is 49000, more than the 41000 vote margin. Falake i believe is aware of this legal limitations, hence should know better. I don't like Bello, i don't know him, i don't like the idea he will reap from where he did not sow viz the accusation he played anti party. But one thing is sure in both the Bible and Quoran, it is GOD that gives power, he may ve decided to favour Bello by ticking for him the whole legal reasons, Falake won't win this case in court, in the court of public opinion and sentiment yes! He will win, unfortunate our courts will rely on the constitution, Electoral Act and decided cases to draw up their decision. Falake should rein in his supporters, probably nominate his proffered deputy to Bello, become a top party stalwart in Kogi, in 2019 go to the senate, allow Bello run his two terms, who knows with the support of stake holders it may be his turn in 2023 in a new power rotation agreement. Just my take, i am not from kogi 1 Like |

babyfaceafrica: THERE WILL BE A COURT HEARING TOMORROW, IT IS SAID THAT ALL WILL BE CLEARED BY THE LAW TOMORROW, WE FOLD OUR ARMS AND SEE WHAT THE LAW HAS FOR US. THIS DEVELOPMENT IS BASED ON THE FALEKE'S PLEA TO THE COURT TO MAKE HIM THE WINNER OF THE ELECTION. REGARDING APC DRAGGING INEC TO COURT, THERE IS NO TIME FOR THAT AS THEY ARE ALREADY ON THE VERGE OF VICTORY, ALL THEY NEED IS PLAY BY THE RULE OR THEY LOSE OUT. |

youngwarlocks:This will not end tomorrow...it will end at the supreme court.....what inec should have done in the first place was to go to the supreme court for interpretation...if they have done that no one would have argued as the supreme court has the final say...lets see how it pans out |

Sant1m:Wow! And you sidelined the electorates totally in your write up. What if this Bello of a guy is not the people's choice? You see, this whole thing is smeared with injustice not just to Audu/Faleke ticket but also the people. Their mandate is about to b stolen from them! |
