This is a copy of the bill the Nigerian govt is basically trying to pass into law to intimidate Nigerians from expressing their thoughts over their dissatisfaction about them... https://mobile.twitter.com/NGRSenate/status/673071373493919744?p=v

Almost the same as Buhari's famous "decree 4" of 1984 but with little modification. Drafted on March 29,1984, Decree No. 4 was the most dreaded, most repressive and the last press law enacted in Nigeria. It was promulgated during the military regime of Major General Buhari which did not take kindly to press criticisms. 36 Likes 4 Shares |

Wonderful! We warned Nigerians against voting a dictator and tyrant, they said he is a Born Again Democract. We warned that APC is a party that will kill freedom of speech and expression, they are chanting You could all see that despite GEJ signing the FOI Bill, all APC states refused to domesticate the bill, even Fashola (SAN) went to court to challenge and defend why he is not obliged to domesticate. Una eyes go soon clear. APC, party of professional liars and career propagandists. 68 Likes 6 Shares |

If this happens then Saraki and his senators will be in for it as the good people of Nigeria will not tolerate any form of invasion or impunity on freedom of speech. However, the electorate should learn a lesson of not only focusing on the executives alone but focus more on this g@@d for nothing legislators during the election.!!! 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Then let us be much more vigilant in the next election so as not to make the wrong set of people oversee our legislation !!! Mogidi: 3 Likes 1 Share |

This act is mostly practiced by Islamic states/countries... Instead of them to have passed important bills that would change the situation of Nigeria, like "death penalty for money launderers" they chose to shut our mouth. Buhari should never sign this bill into law, in as much as I hated Jonathan's administration, we all called him all sought of names on social media and on radio but that man never tampered with the freedom of speech and expression we are all entitled to. We are entitled to our opinion, but ones opinion might be wrong another might be correct it is based on the way we both look at it -Abraham Lincoln The Voice of the people must be heard because it is the government of the PEOPLE by the PEOPLE and for the PEOPLE 19 Likes 2 Shares |

One thing that is certain about this is that APC doesn't want to be paid in their own coin. They introduced politics of hatred, and now that it's time to pay them back, they are trying to shut our mouths by all means. One thing that cannot be dismissed is the truth, no matter how long it takes. GEJ humbly took all the insults thrown to his government and person by this same government including buhari himself. Criticism is part of governance and now they are trying to deny us that right. Any attempted attempt to enslave us and take us back to 1970s...... Holly ghost.. You know what to do to send it 23 Likes 2 Shares |

This is just the beginning of our journey of pains and agony. A democracy without the freedom of speech and expression is worse than any military rule. 13 Likes 2 Shares |
