I indulge in kinds of yoghurts, from the unsweetened to the sweet. Try using unsweetned yoghurt to make smooties, it is divine. A simple one is frozen unsweetened yoghurt with 2 bananas, an apple in the blender. Viola! A tummy filler.
Re: Yogurt Fans Come On In! by oyinda3(f): 9:40am On Jun 20, 2009
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee yogurt. In fact, that's almost all i ate yesterday
US yogurt is filled with cornstarch so it tastes kind of like pap ogi. but I still love it though
my fav. yogurt are the real ones. like the greek ones at wholefoods or the byblos brand (i can't find a pic of it) at the middle eastern/Mediterranean store.
those taste like real yogurt rather than corn starch filled ones ex. yoplait (which I will also eat no doubt)

Re: Yogurt Fans Come On In! by oyinda3(f): 7:23am On Jun 23, 2009
nothing strange about what hauwa said o. I swear american yogurt tastes almost just like extra sweet/rich pap ogi. lol it's 80% filled with corn starch. read the ingredients.
I prefer real yogurt that's actually made out of cow milk ( or whatever yogurt is supposed to be made out of  ). you remember what fan yogurt tastes like? that's what i prefer
Re: Yogurt Fans Come On In! by Hauwa1: 6:51pm On Jun 23, 2009

Re: Yogurt Fans Come On In! by zenatta: 3:45pm On Jul 04, 2009
so unfair you guys have choices. Fan ice for my daughter (she's a fanatic of YGHS) and I, except when I go the extra mile to buy in the large stores out here but nepa or phcn wont let me refrigerate for long. My daughter converted me so up till this day I am scared if I do not store it well, the bacteria and stuff. Apart from one made by Fan ice, we eat FruchteGut by Mertinger, which is our high point!
Re: Yogurt Fans Come On In! by ThoniaSlim(f): 10:29am On Jul 06, 2009
I'm also addicted to taking yogurt. . .though I prefer taking the lfat free yogurt which seems to be everywhere over here. . .
