Bank hands down.

Reasoning? Well, mostly due to my desire to be independent. That way I can portion, divvy up, spend and save the money the way "I" want it and "when" I want it.

Better yet, let him upgrade to first national bank, and open up an account and then hand over to me the bank card to use at any time.

I aint gotta bother him in any New York second, all he needs to do is add money to it preferably automatically after every pay check.

No mess. No fuss. I look good. He looks good. I am happy. He is happy. No questions asked. Win-Win.
