You nt a historian, if not you shld ve known that Nigeria can never be united after the statement made by her founding father starting from ahamadu bello to Awolowo. Even our president made some divisive statement in a foreign country. Have u ever asked why Nigeria has never progress depsite their huge natural resources and human potentials? I know you will be quick to tell me is all about corruption. Of course is part of it becos when there no National Consciousness corruption becomes a normal trend. Have u asked urself y Bokoharam are fighting? Is their sharia ideology secretely shared by most northerns? How can we be united when a certain tribe can kill a fellow Nigerian cos of his religion? How can we be united when the fulani herdsmen are going on rampage killing ppl while FG pays lips service on their menance? Do u knw hw much that have been spent to curb bokoharam starting from Jonathan regime to present? Do u knw the kind of distraction and retrogression it has caused to the development of this country? Do u think Bokoharam ideology can be defeated with weapon? Even if we succeded in wiping them, ve we killed their ideology cos it is enshrined in their religion? The above reasons r y i feel hopless regarding Nigeria unity. Even in nairaland u will feel the hatred among tribes.

Biafra has always been a fight of selfish interests since after the civil war...even during the civil war, many parts of the so-called biafran states refused to fight...if only these boys jumping around with green n red flags witnessed the biafran war, or even asked their fathers the raw truth about the war (dat is if their fathers even fought during the war, cos many of them hid and ran with their mums) then they would have retraced their steps...cos same thing that repeated then, is currently repeating now. Then the states were divided, now the igbos are divided...aside from what u mentioned above, alot of igbos in government would never back the move cos they are comfortable, igbos with good flourishing business would never support war, igbos living comfortable from the fruits of their hard labour would never wish for they they suffered years in actualizing to be bombed to the ground....only those who are looking for opportunity to loot their fellow igbos and opportunity to fight and profit from the dividends of war and the jobless dat will carry this matter on the head like gala. During the biafran war, Ojukwu was smart to get away with it and ran to the neighbouring country on asylum...Nnamdi wasn't lucky enough, war never even start, him don land for net...getting out would never be easy. I would never wish for a repeat of the war that turned my father and his father into poor people...make una use una head for once. yeah, that's pretty brilliant. see how it worked out for you?

3million Biafrans. that's what you lost. and probably much more.

so now you agree it was a war and not genocide?

you had no manpower nor armoury to take on a whole nation, yet u wanted to march against the capital.

wouldn't it have been easier to defend your so-called Biafra and lay ambush for the Nigerian army?

you don't need to answer that. the benefit of hindsight shows who is right and who is foolish.

Most of them are not even in Nigeria. So when the war they are agitating for starts they and their family won't be there to pick up arms.

They keep belaming others for their failure and won't ask themselves what is happening.

You want Biafra yet discriminate amongst catholic and Anglicans...using virgin mary and new age pastors as excuse.
Biko gwanum what are we fighting for? #smh
you guys should give up already, what you guys are doing is exactly what the nigerian state is known for, they are not proactive, they only react to issues when it deteriorates, how can you diminish idea with hullabaloo? Biafra has so much in it than what you guys are writing, biafra has produced what I can call die hards, the people you can never convince, including me, no matter what you show me today, you're talking nonsense, fg should have kept their promises, on RRR, that is why Japan and america are ally today, America quickly rebuilt Japan, hence it's only very few conservatives that are against america, or still bear grudges against US, because they rebuilt Japan, did nigeria do that? Instead they subjected us to the worst form of inhumane activities, using different policies that would have been used to improve the lives of the people you destroyed their properties,
When the biafra was raging FG ignored it, and called them names like jobless, uneducated, touts and disgruntled, now you are coming with chronicles of reason to quit biafra without reasons to accept nigeria!
This is classical example how nigerian state treat everything with lavity only for them to come back with a sledge hammer!
What more can I say? Your have failed already!

Whats wrong if the Igbo want Biafra without war?... Truth be told Nigerians hate Igbos, they see them as a conquered people that are supposed to always shut up... If they're tired of playing second fiddle and they think they can govern themselves comfortably, why not?(I know a lot of people hate this) but the truth is bitter

No Nigerian has been able to give a concrete reason why these people should still remain, the present govt is not even helping matters, further dividing the country along ethnic lines with its body language

he fled for his life and left his people to face the wrath of the enemies.
