View the post above.

Also, as a minimum read the whole of Part 9. At the rate of 20 pages per day, you should be done with it in nine days. This should get you started. You may then read Part 8 at your own pace after you have applied for admission and are preparing to apply for TRV.

Read read read. It will benefit you greatly. No one will spoonfeed you. Also, don't forget that Google is your friend.
Lol...Thanks man...the link on that thread is really helpful

My half sister(same father) her husband and daughter.
My sponsor is my dad,he's here in Nigeria
U can fill her details in d family form. Just make sure her address is not same as ur destination. And make ur application less dependent on her or anyone there rather let it point back home in naija. Try to show more details that will reflect ur genuine intention to study. This is very important cos they can easily put 2 and 2 together to assume u wanna elope to be with ur sis as naija no dey try.

Goodluck!

BANK REFERENCE LETTER THAT'S MEANT TO ACCOMPANY YOUR SOA IS VERY IMPORTANT. Good news to all NLs TRV hopefuls.

Please centennial college replied that they don't give admission to anyone 35years and above because visa rejection is very high. The lady is applying for post grad studies. What are your thoughts on this. Do VOs reject visa applications from student older than 35yrs. Even post grad.

I was refused yesterday
Plus relationship with sponsor was also ticked.
And all the financial reasons were ticked(trying to upload the file bit it isn't going through)
Documents submitted were
NYSC certificate July 2015
Waec cert.
Birth certificate
Resume
Transcripts
Degree cert.
Admission letter from UoO
(in my SOP I didn't state why he was sponsoring me and my relationship but I explained other details carefully)

Sponsors Soa 33M closing balance (my sponsor is my uncle and it's his company that is sponsoring me)
CAC documents
Tax clearance
Declaration statement
Sponsors data page (I didn't include his visa pages)
My sponsor didn't state how much he was sponsoring me with either.

Please, I welcome all useful suggestions on how to tackle this problem as I plan to refire by February. Hope it's not too early? If it is I would like to know. I want to gather all the required documents and refire.
Pls, the gurus in the house, help ur bro oooo,

Since it's paper route and you did medicals (assuming it's a medical passed situation), it's too soon to assume you were denied. Hope for the best till you pick up your pp.

Knowledge gathering isn't age specific/bound
It all depends on how she presents her case/application (story) to the VO. That being said, not granting admission to certain adults (35 above in this case) could be Centennial College's policy (yes, the tendency of visa rejection for such adults may indeed be high) therefore, she should try other institutions.

I think you're a guru yourself as you have been able to identify some possible reasons eg. bolded above. February isn't too early but I think you should present th house with more details to assist in fine-tuning your next attempt.
For example;
Have you been working?
Did you state you were going to sponsor yourself?
How did you fill the "funds available section"?
etc.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by michael1385: 8:35am On Dec 11, 2015
Do i need to upload statement of funding at the point of application......because i am about to pay for application fee on U of manitoba site and it is showing statement of funding pending. Is statement of funding and SOA the same?

I graduated June 2014, finished my NYSC July, 2015. I was not working wen I submitted my application. Hopefully by January I am to begin work. No my uncle is sponsoring me through his own company and I didn't state I was sponsoring myself
