I just hope the 2gig variant will come out the same time as the 1 gig oo cos me I can't shell out 30k for a 1gig ram phone in December 2015.

i had a first hand use of the Big 6 today in SLOT Ikotun. Though, its the 1g version. Man, that sh!t is awesome. Pretty fast in terms of responsiveness.

The LED is too dim..maybe its because SLOT has more white light. but there's nothing a little bit of tweaking cant fix!

The phone sits comfortably while holding and almost weightLESS.

No idea when the ones for sale will be available

Even the previous infinix ui with android kitkat handles RAM better than the xui

Okay, I will base my answers or information on the infinix hot note pro which I am typing this with, tecno droidpad8 which is also available here and tecno r7 which I have used.
I have used tecno r7, which when it was released was regarded as one of tecno's best. Tecno R7 has a 13mp camera, the infinix note pro uses an 8mp camera both has an apparteur f/2.2, I do not know the name of theor lens maker... After comparing both, the infinix hot note pro had better color saturation and brightness yet it was just 8mp camera lens.
A little hint on the Camera chapter, gone are the days when consumers go for mobile devices without real details, these days, we are graced with facts not fictions, so when you see the megapixels of a lens or it mp value, do not excite about the mp, instead equire about the lens maker and the appateur of the lens. For me, Sony camera lenses are the best and Chinese phone makers often patronizes Sony or Samsung for camera lenses. So, if a phone is using a sony lens 13mp and apparteur f/2.0 be sure the picture production will be great. But if the phone is using a sony 13mp apparteur f/2.2 The pics willl be okay, but not that good. That said, the infinix big 6 is using a Samsung 13mp camera lens, f/2.0.... I Only know of the infinix zero 2 that uses this lens, so I can't say anything about it because I have not tested the picture quality of the zero 2. About speaker audio quality, audio quality from the infinix hot note pro is disappointing to say the least, little or no bass at all, rantling when volume is set to maximum during music play In terms of durability, so far, I have had no issues with this note pro... I have used it for about 4 or 5 months now.... So I give it a 80 out of 100 in terms of durability.. I currently have the tecno droidpad8 with me, I must confess its the best tablet I have seen and used, and I have used and seen a few including Samsung tab 3 and 4, tecno p9 and s9, Aino's 7inch tab... But a place the tecno droidpad8 8 failed completely is the multitasking department, nothing to write home about, in terms of multitasking I will give it 10 out of 100. The audio quality from the droidpad8 is superb, its like nothing I have heard from any auio device including my cheap music box which I once thought was the best movable music device, the display and battery life of the droidpad8 is thrilling, camera quality is like on a tab, nothing spectacular. In terms of durability, no issues with the droidpad8 since over 2 months of use, but for that multitasking error I won't advice you to get it... .. If you ask my opinion whether to get this big 6 or not, I will say go for it... Because I plan to buy the big 6 for a relative too, as soon as the funds become available by His Grace. Hopefully,

4. Of course, I also want to experience the Android lollipop OS. Don't blame me, my last android phone was stuck on Jelly bean which means some games I downloaded remained wishes.

5. I love me some rooting. Who don't want to browse the internet cheaper, or download paid apps for free?

6. Somehow, I've never used a first hand phone (and I've used many). I've always bought my phones from another user. I want to be the one that unpack my next phone.

6. I want an attractive phone.

7. My budget was previously 25k but I have reviewed it upward to 31k to accommodate the big 6.

8. I don't want a tablet cos I want something that'll be able to fit into my pocket.


I've checked out the Hot Note Pro and it seems to be the answer to most of my prayers (2gig ram, 16gig rom, 5.5 screen, not too hazardous to the pocket) albeit with a smaller screen size than the big 6. I also heard about the XUI technology on the big 6 which might compensate for the low ram (although I don't understand this as I'm not much of a techie).


I've decided I'm going to computer village tomorrow to get myself a phone and I need your advice. Hot note pro or Big 6 or even another phone you think will be better?

Yes 30,500 Naira for 1 gig RAM. Is there any hope that this phone drop when zero 3 is launched or by next year? I think I would have to settle fo HUAWEI HONOR 4c. Its 20k for slot nigeria. 2GR, octacore.

Would have been easier to recommend the infinix note pro of 32gig rom/2gig ram for you, sadly it's no longer on sale. I wouldn't advice you to buy a 1gig ram device for 28k, even if the device is powered by a 6000mah battery and mtk 6795t chipset.
That said, the innjoo max 2 plus appears like a really nice device, and for 23.5k, it seems like a good bargain until you find out its just a 1gig ram device.
The fact is, buying a 1gig ram device these days is nailing your hand to your dinner table, you see the good food served but can't eat. So as harsh and disturbing as it appears, go for the infinix note with 2gig ram/16gig rom, if you can live with a 1gig ram device, go for the innjoo max 2plus... Though I don't trust innjoo When it comes to phones or tablets, so turn the web upside down for theory and video reviews of the innjoo max 2 plus before going for it..... Sorry that these are the options available to us here in Nigeria, seems like we either buy junks or buy crap.
