This will (hopefully) teach Nigerian Youths never to vote for cretins like GEJ again.

This will (hopefully) teach Nigerian Youths never to vote based on "he is our own" again.

This will (hopefully) teach Nigerian Youths never to vote based on "he is from my religion" again.

This will (hopefully) teach Nigerian Youths never to vote for cretins without any achievement like GEJ again.

If PMB, or better still, Ribadu, was voted in in 2011 to clean up the mess, it would never have gone this far.

Nigeria was going places (haphazardly) until we installed the fuuktard in hell called Yaradua. Then we even went for worse by installing the drunkard Cretin of Otuoke who was by 2014 on the verge of bringing the country to its knees.

I warned repeatedly in 2011 that this cretin should not be voted for, but some fooools were saying PMB is Boko Haram and they don't want any muslim.

Some of you prefer a cretin to a Muslim?

Now see what the foooool let happen to the country. It was a yam festival with a lot of goats binging.

Virtually all states are broke and all reserves are wasted and looted.

Between 2011 and 2015, Nigeria has squandered or lost at least $60bn (conservatively) to corruption, bunkering and selling valuable national assets to crooks for cheap.

It was a time when corruption was not stealing and stealing too was not a crime, according to the cretin, it was a normal thing.

You will all pay for this grave mistake.

The way it is now, the prospects for majority of the youths in the near future is bleak and your kids will also be products of a failed education system as there is no money to fund anything well.

Nigeria is back to square one and we have to start rebuilding from scratch again like we did in 1999.

Remember: It is far easier to destroy than to repair/build.

The jobs of the youth today is not to enjoy but to work hard and build for the youths 2 generations away.

Your lives, hopes and future (in regards to enjoyment and ease) as been destroyed by GEJ.

GEJ till 9743!!! grin

Who is being "honored worldwide"?

Honored for what?

Anytime I listen to my prof. (that teaches us PHL 113 - Philosophy of Value, which I refer to as Ethics and Morality) whenever he is teaching us, I just can't help to think that this country has lost all hope, there's one statement he made, " A country that is morally bankrupt can never move forward " anytime I ponder on this statement I just shake my head for Nigeria, can't wait to finish school and leave. Nigeria will never progress until we appreciate Philosophy.

How are the people going to be employed when our companies and industries are folding up?
How are the people going to be employed when we can't even produce the smallest of things that we make use of everyday?
We have the capital, yet some people are packing the money and keeping it in banks abroad.
We are well populated, yet we prefer to import our food from other countries.
We are blessed with resources, yet we can't turn them into useful products.
We have the labour force but nothing to do with it.
Nigerians prefer imported products to made in 9ja ones; they prefer to be treated in hospitals abroad than to be treated in Nigerian hospitals; they prefer to study abroad than to study in Nigerian universities.

Where do you think we are heading to?

What can we do, do we fold our hands and wait for Nigeria? I believe it is time for like minds to come together and reason a way out of this. We need to put on our thinking caps, it might be difficult for one person, but being in a group can forge a way.
Nice move,nice thoughts.

How i wish we are the future leader, as we were made to believe, many years ago. But sadly, today's Leader are smartly making swift replacement with their clan each time they leave or die..
-
The next minister of finance is currently at Harvard business school as we speak, the next minister of health might probably be in John Hopkins College, Other parts of the future Executive and Legislative representative are scattered in the best Schools in the word, from MIT to Princeton to Imperial College, down to London School of Economics and Oriental studies....
-
The future leaders are everywhere now, from Accenture, to Goldman's sach to NNPC. It's sad that only the opportune thrive now and only the privileged few excel and make exploit while bulk of other great minds are wasting of. Many have become devastated, dejected and lost hope.
-
70% of those who can become the real future leaders are loosing their sanity by the day. Like seriously, more than ever, poverty stares at us now, more than before.
-
Last week i spoke with an Energy Expert on his research on power generation and distribution in Nigeria, was made to understand even privatization of distributing channels like IBEDC OR KEDC would never solve our problem cos as we speak, kanji dam is badly tensed, as it supports other few ones like Egbin.
-
In addition to that, only last week the University of Ibadan Teaching hospital recruited for Otunba subomi balogun Care centre, a private arm of UCH, Just 100 personnel (with outrageous salaries for 55k for midwives nurses with 9yrs experience, Medical officer with 3yrs experience for 50k salary) were needed, about 20000 applied. UCH had to stopped the application because the Teaching hospital has between just 3days, became so overcrowded, as applicants flooded the Institution, to the extent that even a plantain seller in UCH was forced to ask "Ejo kini won un se nibiyi tero fi po to bayi?".
-
That's the stage we have seemingly found ourselves, and more worrisome is the fact that it's getting more worse by the day.
-
No Fuel, Insecurity and Unrest in every neighbourhood, No job, The 18K Minimum wage of a 52yrs old govt worker at level 2 is still being bargain to be reduced. No light, corruption and ineptitude has rented our air for years...
-
There is developmental gridlock, Education has lost it's value, youths are now becoming more useless and restless by the day, the only courage we once had is the"Change Mantra" but as it stands, this is 2015, and it seems we are still where we were in 2009.

Tell me why i have to get hope again?

Tell me why my song would not change?
-
Tell me how the EFCC daily news has helped the common man on the street, the driver, the Jobless graduate with HND and Bsc, the seamstress, the artisan, the poor market woman and the local village dweller?
-
How i wish i can curtail my emotion, but the bitter truth here is that there is a serious problem in the land, the street hope stinks and oozes of a slummy future.

Creation of employment opportunities is the responsibilities of every institution in the society. Ofcourse, government should selflessly deliver a result oriented policy to the people but every institution must however be sensitive to the plight of Nigerians. The churches, mosques and several religious group must play a decisive role in helping the unemployed. The youth troop to these places for possible employment opportunities. Our religious institutions must not abandon materialism in the scheme of things. Spiritual pursuit and material acquisition must be well adjusted. The synchronisation of these vision will obviously create a healthy society. Religious group should align with the vision of the government by decisively helping the unemployed. The habit of belittling a youth who approach a well placed individual for a job must stop. Many religious members are guilty of this habit

Lol. . . i will keep saying this till you all start to understand. Nigeria's problems can be summarised into one sentence. THE MENTALITY OF IT'S CITIZENRY IS ENTIRELY AND UTTERLY PHUCKED UP. I don't think you all realize how messed up the mentality in Nigeria is. Nothing can change with a mentality as jacked up as it is in Nigeria. You have a mentality of widespread corruption, lack of maintenance, jungle justice, littering, waste, disregard for laws, the belief that might is right, the "sir" disease, or should i say "sah", etc. Even if the right leader emerges, he/she would not make a dent in the fortunes of the country because of the way it's people think. God help una.
I used to think this was the problem as well. But I'm not so sure now. From my experience, humans have a tendency towards chaotic behaviour if given the opportunity. So, the expression of chaotic behaviour is directly proportional to the opportunity to express it without punishment / embarrassment. That's why when Nigerians go abroad they try to compose themselves and why you can find a white man peeing on the streets of Lagos.

I think it boils down to an inadequate societal maintenance system. Ofcourse as Nigeria continues the way it is, our mindsets are continually eroded. Our savagery becomes fully expressed.

I used to think like you, but now I know better, I have lived among westerners and have come to realize that No country in this world can boast of good leaders, but the fear of the people guarantees cautious and leaders thoughtful leaders. In other words, the leaders know that the people are willing to shed their blood in record numbers if they perceive corruption or even anything that threatens their good way of life . They believe in death as opposed to living in penury, Nigerians on the other hand prefer to live in penury and abject poverty than to die for their offsprings to have a better life . That's why we will continue to suffer.

I completely agree with you. You see deep down, we all have dark thoughts and desires but what holds us back from acting on those thoughts and desires is the fear of consequences. There are none in Nigeria. None whatsoever. Do you think people in America are saints? Definitely not. But, they know committing a crime comes with heavy consequences and apart from that, the system will hunt you down, all the way to the ends of the earth until they get you. In Nigeria, you can pretty much kill someone in one state and move to another and live a comfortable life if you can afford it. There are no consequences for actions in Nigeria which is a disgrace.

ok, keep telling yourself that? God will come down from were ever and give you jobs, electricity, Good roads, ETC.
Is n't this what most of the problem are? The me and my own or i am okay attitude. If you are okay as you have claimed? What about others? Seems you are not prepared to help them be okay too as some one who is connected to God. As you claim to be.

sorry to disappoint you but i am also, and believe that a lot of nigerians are not prepared to die for nigeria, nigeria is n't worth dying for.
Country were every body believes in bribery including imams, pastors, every body in nigeria believes and enjoys cutting corners.so if you are patriotic enough? Well.. Good luck to you. i am not, after the patriotic sacrification the bribery and corruptions continues.
To stop it we all have to be in it together. Not while some are living in mansions and others are suffering .

Exactly, that's why I preferred Abacha to all our past presidents I believe every human has a limit to the amount of oppression they can stand, North Koreans have not gotten to their limit yet that why they are still suffering, when they do Kim will be no more , a lot more will die and redemption will come, Abacha could have been the very one that will drive individual Nigerians mad on the street , I mean practically mad with no food nor clothing, maybe by then we would realize that death is better than some certain way of life.

drive people madness practically? grin grin sounds funny but i believe makes sense. Perhaps that's the only way to to get nigerians to turn against their leaders (revolution) but knowing nigerians money grabbing attitude coupled with hunger, it will still be nigerians who will sabotage the revolution. Politicians knows how to turn their people against each other. Nigeria is at risk of such especially were every body is divided in their views example, IPOB, BIAFRA, BOOK HAram, igbo, hausa, yoruba, muslim and christians all they need to do is press the right button and bang! It goes and we end up killing each other while they are sitting by the side watching.well.. only time will tell the future of nigeria and her people. I believe it will get worst before it gets better

Our country Nigeria is holding on by a thread I quite agree with you on this. But what are we going to do about it? As youths do we continue to wait for scraps or we stand up and dazzle our leaders once more like we did during the elections? many of us today worry more about the latest news on celebrity gossip than what our legislators are doing to make our country better that's why in some cases we are not carried along. we have lost the tenacity to do serious research about all the news we get every day and base many of our judgements on hearsay, we have to step up and make ourselves relevant. Nigerian youths are hard workers, intelligent, relentless in the face of any challenge that's why we survive any where whether Lagos, Nairobi, Sydney, Dubai, Singapore,Kiev, New york or any other city in the world. I challenge everyone of us to reach out. lets make sure we are included in the policy making machinery, lets not be afraid to ask the hard questions. lets stop celebrating mediocrity lets act now. social media remains our greatest platform to be heard and to hear. lets not loose hope there can be better things in the future for us in Nigeria and if hope is indeed lost, what else is there for us to live for?
