This question has been on my mind for sometime now and I just thought I should put it out to see what y'all think.

Having spent most of my adult life abroad, I returned to Nigeria a few years back. Right from the airport, one thing I noticed was that guys here just don't know when and when not to flirt with a lady.

You walk into an office and the man on seat starts asking for your number (whilst on duty?) I've had to change my dentist twice, the first one kept asking about my sexual history like it's got anything to do with my teeth... This new one keeps staring at my boobs each time I go for a checkup. Like seriously huh

Most times, I walk into a bank and the cashier starts hitting on me. In all this, I try to be as polite as possible even though it makes me so uncomfortable.

I don't have anything against a man approaching a lady but I think it should be done in the right environment.

Ladies, have u had a similar experience? And guys, why do u act like that? Isn't that unprofessionalism?

And pls, to address some of the comments. If u have lived in some countries, you would know it's actually wrong for a doctor to make sexual advances towards a patient. You could get fired if caught.

Is it just coincidental that I started noticing it since i returned home? While away, what I noticed with most of the guys is that they drop subtle hints if they are into you. I never ever had a doctor or banker hit on me in his office.
