Please did anyone write TOEFL or GRE as proof of English language for University of Oslo or any of the universities in Norway?

Good day everyone. I applied to NTNU for MSC. Biology and Natural Resource Management. I Hold a degree in Biochemistry as major and minor in Medical Laboratory Technology with a GPA of 2.81 on a scale of 4.00. What are my chances of getting this admission. I need your help please.

Pls anyone who gets contacted by NTNU that they've received any document sent to them from Nigeria especially Transcript should inform me as soon as it happens so I know my stand. I'm yet to successfully get verifiable proof that my transcript is with them already.

Most Norwegian schools exempt Nigeria from TOEFL/IELTS including NTNU. Your C6 and above in WAEC is all u need. For GRE, you don't need it at all. It's mostly for US schools.
I'm yet to complete my application to another school, in this case UiS.

University of oslo requires english test. IELTS or toefl. I had to sit for ielts exam and upload my result before completing my application. They only started requesting for english test this year. Nigeria and some english african countries were exempted before but not anymore.

i dnt think that should be an issh, well i had my fears at first but i realized my transcript got to sch eventually, i saw it with the dhl tracking no my uni gave me, even the name of the recepient was spelt out clearly, lets take a chill pill fellas!

why not see it this way...get into Norway , and while doing your Msc, apply for migration to Canada or Australia through the skillled migration programe. that way you would have a Masters in hand and a Permanent residency into any of these two countries. God can set you up for the big stage in any country, we walk by FAITH and not by sight!

Norway is a far better country to live in and work than any of those countries u mentioned.. Norway also has a far better economy than both countries.

One very good advice I forgot to give here is That everyone who is planing to move to Norway should really bring out time and learn their language.. Tack

Well, looks like my dream of a Norwegian study may be abandoned. After getting rejected by NTNU earlier this year, I decided to try Univ of Stavanger this window. Before the application proper, you are required to fill out a survey form which asks about your first degree study. After filling the CGPA portion in which mine falls between the 70%-80% interval, I was informed of my ineligibility for Msc in offshore engineering. I tried the survey for all the available Msc courses that suit my first degree programme, mech eng, but the response was the same. Thought it may have been a fluke. Mailed them, but they confirmed it.

Instead of abandoning ur dream of a Norwegian study, why not try less competitive schools like Telemark(TUC), now University College of SouthEast Norway. They offer two nice courses for Mechanical Engineering Students: Process Technology & Energy and Environmental Technology. The application is totally online. No need to send issued transcript and it's still open till January 15, 2016. But they insist on TOEFL/ IELTS. Don't limit ur options to NTNU and UiS.

@rinzylee, You don turn wikkipedia as far as Norwegian things is concerned. Even if their temperature drop to -100C, I dey land for Oslo or Tromso Airport by August next year (God willing). Make we go dey learn their language online. At least to understand simple communications.

NHH requires GRE and TOEFL I applied there
