hmmm. I beg to differ....
should I name Africans that are worshipped at their clubsides?..

Drogba of Chelsea...
yobo of everton... Infact he ones captained the club..

yeah I know some Africans aren't treated well at Europe but hey it depends on ur class..

u see when eto was at Chelsea.. mourinho dissed him about his age? u saw his reaction... his goal celebration changed.. he even called mourinho a fool and a puppet.. yet he is somewhere in turkey now making his cool cash..

what am trying to say is this.. MIKEL DOESN'T HAVE ANY GUTS... HE IS MORE LIKE A COWARD WHO CANT CHALLENGE AND REQUEST FOR EXPLANATION..
oliseh commending him.. wait do u expect him to criticize him in the first place?

OK if oliseh cherished him.. why bench him against Swaziland?..
what have u to say on same oliseh commending onobie?.

Oliseh can choose to drop him based on multitude of reasons, does not change the fact that he actually said Mikel was the best in those games. He did not say good.

The player Oliseh played, did Oliseh say the player was the best on the field?

You say Eto, Drogba, Yobo. That will show you how difficult it is for Africans. So, how do you expect Mikel to give Mourinho the Costa reaction?

Eto is a legend of football. He can react that way although he knew he had to leave after that.

That is the cause . Anytime you leave a particular thread , wait for some time before you comment on another thread , if not anti spam will catch up with u and you will be ban.

Wait for some time for like how many minutes, hours or days?

At a point, I felt like running a way from the Sports Section because I get banned 3 to 4 times a week.

I just came back from my self 'impossed' break due to this same issue.

Of course, I am aware of the dearth of players in top European leagues when you compare them to the 1996 Olympics class.

However, we can still get something closer to that.

Finidi George was not eligible to play in that competition simply because of his age.

The answer Is very simple. Moses Simon.

Moses Simon first of all, is already in the squad. He is a Super Eagles player. I mean among the foreign base players you want Nigeria to give a chance.

Moses Simon operates mostly on the left flank, While Tongoli Tonbara operates from the right.

Finidi George could have come in as one of the overage players. Oruma could have played Amokachi's role and Finidi, replace Tijani Babangida.

But, the team was so star Studded that the best winger in the World could not make a cut in the team.

John Obi Mikel’s intermediary has reacted to speculations in the local media suggesting that the Chelsea midfielder has made himself available to coach Samson Siasia for the 2016 Olympic Games.

The defensive midfielder’s intermediary has also provided an update on reports linking the Nigeria international with a move to Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan and Super Lig giants Galatasaray when the transfer window opens.

“Mikel may leave Chelsea at the end of this season, he has been complaining about his lack of game time. Arsenal wanted him this summer but Chelsea blocked the move, preferring to sell him outside England, ” Mikel’s rep told allnigeriasoccer.com.

“Galatasaray and Beijing Guoan are still in touch with him but nothing has been concluded. There is nothing concrete yet, he has told Beijing Guoan what he wants.

“It is not true that he wants to play in the Olympic Games, which is mainly for U23 players.”
The 28 - year - old Mikel has made nine appearances for Chelsea in all competitions so far this season.

Which kind of wickedness is this?

“Mikel may leave Chelsea at the end of this season, he has been complaining about his lack of game time. Arsenal wanted him this summer but Chelsea blocked the move, preferring to sell him outside England, ” Mikel’s rep told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Arsenal would have been a perfect move for Mikel. Why block the move? So he can not make a move to an English club. I hate Chelsea for this. This is a pure Mourinho action. The wicked man knows Mikel is a good player but he is determined to stop Mikel from shining.

Then people will call him a coward.

The wicked man had no good plans for Mikel in the first place.

He knew if Man 'U' had signed him, he would one day become rival to his team. That was why he deceived Mikel to join Chelseaa FC.

He has allowed the same coward thinking to becloud his sense of judgement this time around by refusing to sell him to good Clubs that were keen about his signature. The truth shall one day come out from it's hiding place.

Mourinho, 'The Evil One'.

One of the reasons I dnt like Mourinho. He kills the careers of players. That was how he also stopped Demba Ba's move to Arsenal only to sell him to a Ukrainean club. There is no fair play in his coaching philosophy at all. Any player that scores against Chelsea he buys and put on the bench just to deplete that team.
I will keep saying it that Mourinho destroyed Mikel. He is really 'The Evil One'

mikels success is one of many cases I ve seen luck play out... he is one lucky of a guy...

how many individual award has he won other than team collective laurels...?
u mentioned martins?... Martins won the carling cup for Birmingham when he scored the lucrative winning goal against arsenal some years back..

he won the player of the year for his mls club seatle sounders..
he is their highest goal scorer and has won many MVP awards many times.....

as for odemwingie... u and I know that injuries has marred his football carier....

but as for Mikel.. reverse is the case... .

how can a person that calls himself a proffesional player..
score as little as below 6 goals in almost two hundred and something appearances?.. even defenders scored more than him..

..how can a player who has P. A, agent, be warming a bench at his club.. yet doesn't request to leave or contract reviews?..

many coaches including siasia has advices him many a times to leave that Chelsea of a club.. but guess what? he doesn't care so far as he receivs his 100k every Friday...

MIKEL IS JUST LUCKY TO BE IN A WINNING TEAM.

U know the thing is forgiveness believes so much in those Anglo-Nigerian players. Which of Akpom, Aneke, Iorfa, Iwobi, Ibe, Solanke etc is as good as Success, Iheanacho, Simon, Ezekiel, Etebor, Saviour, Azubuike, Dimgba etc? None if u ask me.

Yes oo. I believe so must in them after I saw what Victor Moses brought to the table at Nations Cup. At least, there must be another Anglo-Nigerian better than him.

Akpom and Ibe are not in my list because they have pledged their allegiance to play for England while Iwobi can't displace(he deserves a chance thou) the one's on ground

Please don't compare Ibe with Saviour, Success and Dimgba because he's miles ahead of them. Abegi.

Aneke is miles ahead of Azubuike.

Iorfa is a right back player so there's no need to compare him with the one's you listed.

Solanke, have you seen him played before?

He is a prolific goal scorer and highly skillful player. I can say he is more skilful and prolific in front of goal than Success and Iheancho.

Nevertheless, Success, Iheanacho, Simon, Etebor, Ezekiel and Azubuike are all included in my list. The rest are not good enough.

Tell me, which club is Saviour playing for currently and how many matches has he played this season?

If Victor Moses is the best Anglo-Nigerian to have ever played for the Super Eagles then I am not impressed.

U know the problem? The English league is simply over-rated. The earlier u realize that the better.

Godwin Saviour plays for KV Oostende of Belgium. He has played only 2 games for his club this season and scored 1goal which is not abnormal for a young player that jst got signed up at the beginning of this season. His fate is similar to Moses Simon in terms of game time this season. And see what Simon in playing in the Super Eagles. We saw Saviour shine during the Olympic qualifying games against Congo.

It is almost impossible for one to force their way out of an epl club. So he has to wait for a team to offer the right price.

Bros, we know Victor Moses played vital roles on our way to lifting the Nations Cup trophy. True or false?

That is what matters most.

Saviour case is not any way similar to Moses Simon.

Moses Simon has played 14 matches( out of 19 league games) and spent 815 minutes on the pitch this season. He has scored only one goal in the league with many assist while Saviour has played only 2 matches out of 19 league matches and spent 12 minutes on the pitch in his first year in a professional league. So, how is that similar to each other now?

OK, who do you think Saviour can bench out of these players( Moses Simon, Michael Olaitan and Isaac Success)?

Remember, the slot is for only Wingers.

Less I forget, you said English league is overrated. grin

Where did Ronaldo win the best player in the world before moving to Madrid? grin

Where did Michael Owen win the best player in the world? grin

How come this overrated league clubs played regularly in the finals of UEFA Champions League between 1999 - 2012? grin

Among the names of players he listed who are not playing for Nigeria, there is none I can put above Tonbara to play in the right wing. I do not see him making the starting line up of the final team. I do not even see Godwin Saviour making the starting line up.

What hurts about the Mikel Obi transfer Saga was, Mourinho did not need him. His midfield was full with the likes of Ballack, Lampard, Essien, Geremi, Joe Cole, Lassana Diarra etc.

Man Utd had the space and pattern to suit Mikel. Mourinho just bought him to frustrate Man Utd. He did not care about the talent of one of the brightest gems in World Football. He just destroyed the young man for his personal glory.

Mourinho can never be rated as a class act by me.

Olaitan and Imoh Ezekiel are not natural wingers. They are natural strikers. Those roles are already taken by the likes of Awoniyi, Success, Nacho and others.

It is better we play natural wingers on the wings than convert strikers to play there. If we did not have Natural wingers, we can talk of converting but we do.

but as for Mikel.. reverse is the case... .

how can a person that calls himself a proffesional player.. (k
score as little as below 6 goals in almost two hundred and something appearances?.. even defenders scored more than him..

..how can a player who has P.

You guys keep on saying things you do not even understand. In 2005, in the World Youth Championship, how many goals did Mikel score in open play? None.

He was rated as one of the best players of the competition. He was close to Messi in performance without goals. If you look at goals, you miss the brilliance of his game.

Oliseh was one of the greatest midfielders of his time. He scored 18 goals in his whole club career. 2 goals in his very long career in the Super Eagles. Mikel has scored 4.

Their roles have to do with a lot of things than goals. Interceptions, pass completions, building the game. Even the back pass you guys criticise him for is to keep possession.

Mikel is one of the longest serving foreign players in the history of Chelsea despite being played in an unfavorable position in his whole career at Chelsea. Luck can not run for that long. Coaches like Scolari, Grant, Di Matteo, Villas-Boas, Ancelotti, Gus Hiddink, Benitez, all can not be stupid to keep on playing him.

You will drop Azubuike Okechukwu for Aneke. I disagree there.

How many times have you seen Success playing as a left winger?

We are going to play an expansive game. Which means a lot of the ball is going to go wide. We need natural wingers creating for the finisher. So Simon will move to his more favored left.

Olaitan and imoh-ezekiel played regularly on that wing for many years for their various clubs. Even if they are natural strikers, they have proven themselves to be better strikers than the trio you mentioned with the numbers of goals they scored in a season.

Haha! 16, 13 and 12 goals no be beans now.

Tell me how many goals has Awoniyi scored for his present club in the 2 bundesliga this season?

Tell me, how many goals did Success score in previous and present season in the LA liga? Besides he plays as a left Winger for his club .

Iheanacho is not a Striker, he is an attacking midfielder.
