Sometimes I always find it so funny on NL, no matter what you post on here about visa deny, people go still dey pick up flops. Do you even know dat sometimes it also depends on d VO's mood?. I don see person wey dey stammer infront of a VO and still got d visa... US Embassy no be shere shere o. I don see person with palm sander and he got his visa while some with suits were denied. I believe it's all about the grace of God. If u like mak u don travel all over the world, e no concern US Embassy o. Tho some people dey fuckup in der interview o but dos white wizard sabi read person mind. Lolz! Getting a US visa na biggest achievement because e hard pass Job interview ![]() |

Hello house, please on my I-20 it's stated that student is not proficient although my I-20 was ready before I took Toefl. Hope I won't have problem with that at the embassy |

MrMann1:Not really. Saying 'yes' means that you're prepared for the interview, while 'no' indicates that you're not a good listener, but 'maybe', 'maybe not' shows unpredictable. Before an interview, you don't give a VO any chance that you're already prepared for him or her otherwise it'll be pretty hard for you to impress. Visa interview is psychological. |

dancinglecturer:You haven't answered the question yet. Anyway, why don't you apply for tourist visa because you already have a home tie. Well, student visa is still okay. |

MSc graduation date is uncertain due to the strike. For example the admission was for 2013 but due to the strike we didn't resume till 2014 and the strike amongst others makes the graduation date unsure. DeeTus: |

dancinglecturer:Hehe..why don't you take a transfer? You've got a solid reason for that, you know? It strictly depends on you to do so anyway. |

glossybayor:Guy, you're right and at the same time you're very wrong for this bolded statement.. Do you mean, guys shouldn't flip out flaws from their denials?. That's basically part of what this thread entails: To help, To proffer solutions to ones problem.. We all know that getting visa is by the favour of God but one really need to get prepared and do all his/her necessary homeworks.. You can't go to the embassy unprepared and expect the favour(heaven helps those who help themselves). You actually wrong for that statement. I remembered back then when, amanze and darklight were denied, guys pointed out their flaws, they worked on it and they got it when they refired.. In the case of that guy, Adetoro1, fregkay has actually given him the best reply, why would you chose a school only for its safety, what about other reasons, flexible curriculum, student-faculty ratio. VO's mood or Not, when you're qualified provided you give a real and genuine answers for all questions asked, you're too good to go |

Oh! I am indebted to this forum if I didn't send my transcript, I would say it again everybody merits GBOSA!!!!!!!,most especially Slimmy05, Bigfrancis and Walspring. This forum is a live saver as it gives me total confidence that my passport is not going back home with me that day. IT IS GOD, BUT NOTHING MORE. I am a silent nairalander but I have been following and reading thru the transcripts since September 2014. This has made me to prepare more than ever. Like others say here that prayer, fasting and commitment to God is a fast way of visa approval, I fasted and prayed for 7 days and indeed it worked for me. |

Do i need any English Test or not? Since i am transferring and its written on my I-20 Student is Proficient? Please Advise .Thank you.......Also this question might be funny but i better ask....My hair is very plenty and High,But it is very neat,Do you think i should cut it Low for the interview or it doesn't matter to the VOs? cos i de fear my hair,if i cut am and dem no give me nah anoda pain lol. |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by Walspring: 4:15pm On Dec 16, 2015 |
Alabsreal:It means that you didn't have toefl or ielts requirement score and your English in your Waec grade didn't meet their score.. If not ask your school to send you a letter stating that you are proficient if you have the required score. Pray to Favour you in that aspect because a lot had issues there and some don't have.. |

| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by wiseman2392(m): 5:08pm On Dec 16, 2015 |
jah101:No problem at all, what is written in your I-20 means you met english requirement. No need to write english test but it would be useful for u more than u thought. And pertaining to the second question, VO is only particular about how u can defend yourself during the interview, nothing concern them if u are handsome or not. |

dickoflife:The pay issue comes after getting a job. Most non-STEM jobs are very very competitive since you're applying alongside many other Americans. If you are a US resident or citizen, that puts you in a 'better' position. But if not, it may be really hard getting a job after graduation;and a 'high' paying one...this not taking into account if you would need employment visa(H-1B) sponsorship which is another tough one for non-STEM majors. |
