Hi. I will be leaving 27th too. What airline please.?

JuneFirst:
Hello all,

I had just confirmed from FBN that banks no longer sell PTA.
How else can I send my little cousin money for accomodation and feeding that wouldn't tell so much on my pockets as per charges? He'll be leaving for Canada on 27th.

Guys kindly assist!

Hello Seiraries, hope your day is going well. My fiancé tracked his application and it has already been dispatched without an approval mai!!.
Please what does this mean?? What's the success rate of applicants getting TRV without approval mails??

I am so tensed. Pls say something, anyone!!

seiraries:

Patience. Hope for the best. That's all you can do.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by UceeyClaire: 6:00pm On Dec 16, 2015
Phemo, did you get a mail before the refusal letter or they just dispatched your passport??

My fiances passport has been dispatched without anotice approval mail. Does it mean he was refused visa??

PhemosticLaLa:
Waited for 11weeks to pick my application at vfs today with a refusal letter stating that ;

I haven't satisfied the VO with the following reasons

1# ...... Length of Proposed stay in Canada

2# ..... Purpose of Visit

3# ..... Current employment Situation

4# ..... Personal Assest and Financial status

Here are the documents I submitted ;

#1 .... All CIC forms
#2 .... Sponsor SOA (Bal of #45M)
#3.... Letter of Intro from Sponsor
#4..... Sponsors' company CAC certificate
#5.... Admission letter (seneca college)
#6.... Police Character
#7..... Passport (stamped Bene Rep, Togo,Ghana and Dubai working visa )

Firstly, I want to apologies to the house because this refusal occurred out of my personal ignorance of using a "Representative", cos am sure a good and well arranged SOP would have addressed that issue. It's a visa refusal thou, not a death sentence. grin grin ( still thank GOD)

I NEED SUGGESTIONS and ADVISE serious one at it pls. undecided

I intend to fire again for May Session, but with another admission from same school (seneca) which I will reapply for and this time I intend using online route (formal was paper route).
* Do I have to do Biometric again ?
* Can I still use same SOA(but updated one) since I have no issue with insufficient fund?
* Hope I won't have another issue applying with another offer from same school ?
* Anyone with a sample of a SOP should help a brother by sending to uncleolofin@gmail.com

Bros thesoj, Bros Fhemmy, omooba2015, seiraries, morgan2006, and all other gurus in the house

Help a confused brother

Thanks

UceeyClaire, kaygreen, For paper route applicants, it's possible to get trv approved passport dispatched without an approval mail preceding it. Try and stay hopeful guys.
PS- since medicals have been done and passed, the possibility of getting trv exists.

So we all tracked our app today, been dispatched but no approval mail. Hopefully the TRV is already been packaged for collection at vfs. Let's be hopeful nd it might take a week before we get it.

Hello, seiraries, I read ur abt reasons for denials and solutions. I thank you for that cos I have seen some of my flaws but my question is, my sponsor has 33M as closing balance that is abt cad$200000 but I filled 37000 as funds available, was I meant to feel the whole amount or just that. Since the SOA I submitted was abt 30pagesit was blur cos I didn't find any app to compress it appropriately and he didn't state in his sponsorship letter the amt he was setting aside for me.
Please I need ur advice on this, as I plan to refire soonest
P. S My sponsor is my uncle and he's using his company.

If your scanned documents (especially the financial ones) are blurry, then either you need to come up with a better scanning/compression strategy, or use the paper route. With Adobe Acrobat Pro, it is a bit easier to convert documents to PDF without losing too much quality, assuming you directly scanned the files to TIFF or TIF format (scanned at 300dpi) in the first place. After converting TIF/TIFF to PDF you can further compress the file by re-distilling it, a process which removes unnecessary junk data that doesn't help image quality. This works like magic, sometimes shrinking the size by 90% (depending on the distill quality setting chosen) without losing much quality!

Nonetheless, from your previous postings the main issue I see is that a company is sponsoring you yet they didn't give a convincing reason why. VOs are smart and mostly rational; anything that doesn't make sense will cast considerable doubt on the credibility of your application, thus likely leading to a denial. Fix your sponsorship issue.

Thanks thesoj, I really appreciate ur input. I am currently working on it. What abt the finds available section, what am I to put there?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by thesoj: 10:02pm On Dec 16, 2015
Hmm... there are different opinions on what to fill in Funds Available. But my main thought is that whatever you fill here should match the amount(s) on your sponsorship letter and should NOT be more than what's on your sponsor's bank statement (tho there may be exceptions).

So, for example, if your sponsorship letter specifies that s/he/they will drop C$30k per year for your two year program, then you could put C$60k (i.e. 2*C$30k) for funds available as long as your sponsor has much more than C$60k in the account (you will explain this funds available amount in your SOP or a very brief document that explains your finances). If your sponsor is a parent then it's ok to put the total bank statement amount as funds available. If your sponsor is not a parent and the bank statement is more than C$30k but less than C$60k then it's ok to write C$30k (CIC only requires you to show proof of one year of funding, tho in this case they need strong proof that your sponsor will continue to have enough funds to fund your future years).

Basically, the rule of thumb is that your application/sponsorship/finances should be effortless to rationally understand.

All praise be ascribed to God almighty, after all the fears of medical passed and visa denied. Today I received my TRV through UPS.

thanks to you metrecube
CAQ will still cost me more time and processing i guess, yes they have courses in english language.

metrecube:

French speaking part of Canada is okay. U wont have issue with TRV. Is ur program in English language? U will need to obtain caq from Quebec govt before u can apply for ur TRV.

Basically, calculate how much your tuition for a year is (i.e tuition for two terms), + $10,000cad (room & board) + others (let's assume $5000cad), the total should be your total funds available.
Have your uncle declare a little above that sum (the total funds available we just calculated) as money to be given to you per year in his sponsor letter.
Mind you, his account should reflect the declared sum preferably with a handsome leftover in the account.
Then let him write a heartfelt and convincing letter preferably dripping with emo detailing why he's sponsoring his dearest nephew bla bla bla.

it's being 6weeks now after submitting application, no medical request, no update on what is happening to my application and school is to resume January 5th. I do not even know what step to take, I do not know what next to do because the outcome from CIC would help me make decisions right now.

At least if I get Medical Request I go know say them do visit my application. just imagine to have a document on someone's table for 6weeks without update, this is torture.

Mouth is wide opened ooooo

My u.g course was Agric Economics and i have work experience (mid level managerial). I don't want to do that GMAT stuff. But on their site (Laurentian uni), they wrote they can waive GMAT for some applicants.
