Even Ajax of 2005 had Finidi George who could sneak behind the defence with intelligent run and deliver a pin point final pass/cross.

Martial/Depay/Lingard have awful final balls as compared to our wingers under SAF. Giggs at 40 would deliver from the wings better than our current wingers.

We did better in 2011/2012 than 2012/2013 despite all the injuries and Paul Scholes absence. Van Persie was just an opportunist considering Chicha and Welbeck were event better matured in 2012/13 and few injuries. Man City internal crisis from middle of the league also helped us to pull away. Otherwise we had less goals difference in 2012/13 while finishing same point.

Mata, from when he came, it was bad bad results. Just like when he was in Chelsea.

ere is usually no strong person to do all the laborious work behind him as he did for others. The support is usually weak. Berbatov failed us. Before Rooney's injury which was compounded by SAF' s desire to keep him playing at all cost, we were on top of the league with few games to go, Rooney was toping scorers chart but Berbatov couldn't step in when needed.

In 2012/13 RVP went about 11 games without a goal, that period Rooney averaged almost 1 goal per match. That's how to win a league.

Lame excuse. So how did he score all those goals '09/10? No one is disputing the fact he wasn't an integral part of our attack.

The fact is why we were shouting for the reinforcement of the midfield, Fergie, knowing he'd go trophyless again with Rooney as the point man in attack, took a big risk by paying a huge fee for an old injury prone striker. He Knew he needed more goals to win the title. Unless you now know better than him then you should replace LvG.
