I agree LvG's methods has made the team impotent. The urgency the team show these days are forced cuz they fear backlash from the OT faithfuls & I sense a couple of players & perhaps Giggs have been urged to deviate from the "philosophy" somewhat!
Where the problem lies now as far as I'm concerned is team selections & substitutions. The set up that I can bet my azz will be guaranteed victory 95% of the time they step onto the pitch in the EPL even with his philosophy is not rocket science but it seem a jagged puzzle to the gaffer.

Where I don't agree tho is saying RvP didn't win the last EPL title for Man United. He was head & shoulders above every other player that season.

No one on the field especially in central midfield can afford to be lazy like Yaya Toure. That is why top sides in Europe would always decimate City anyday

For City to be relevant in Europe they have to get rid of Yaya and Kompany

I watched the game on NBCSN and they kept pointing out the huge gap he kept leaving for Fernandinho to cover. Delph is a far better box-to-box holding midfielder than Yaya. He may not have the skill and technique, but he definitely won't leave be "strolling" about in the field for over 80mins.

When I was telling folks on here 2-3 yrs ago that Yaya was a footballing liability they said I was blaspheming

Today everyone is now seeing it. Yaya is the major problem with City. Football is 11 vs 11. if 1 player is just strolling through the game then it has become 10 vs 11 and vs top sides it would always show

RVP came from nowhere to spoil the structure, and that's what we suffer today.
