+ I noticed that the handwriting of our foreign students are pathetic. Can't they write in Arial or Verdana or Times News Roman straight font. cry

+ $1,000 a month spend is a lot of money ie N200,000 shocked

+ CBN approves academic tuition overseas from Nigeria with priority.

+ Housing can be paid from Nigeria.

+ Handouts are not sold overseas.

+ Basically, you need cash for transportation (which is at times free), feeding allowance and entertainment. So that $1,000 is still too much.

+ You can buy food ingredients from Nigeria to conserve forex.

+ Clubbing is cheap.

+ I don't understand why they are complaining.

PS: where can I get a boxing glove? Its boxing day

Even students of Abia State University dont require such budget per semester.Where is lalasticlala sef grin

If this ATM ban happened during GEJ, the posters would have Read " Good luck is BadLuck" "GEJ is Evil".

But now that is happening under PMB they are Blaming CBN Governor and not the president.

Not trying to down play their protest... but one would think that the contents of their placards will be void of simple grammatical errors, afterall the common opinion is that our educational system is substandard!

You don't vote then go home and sleep, it's better you don't vote at all.
You voted for a party does not mean you should fold your arms and watch the party do the wrong thing.
It does not mean you should support the party while it's going wrong.

Even if a saint is elected as a president, he will err if not criticized and corrected by both friends and enemies.
We should evolve beyond this my party thing, we should collectively demand for good governance....ceci est la voie à suivre mon ami.

This is the first of the protest that will soon follow if the Nigerian government does not look for an alternative to the restriction placed on the Naira ATM abroad......

I know the government means well but it is wrong for Innocent people to have to pay the price of Looters,it is wrong!
Buhari should take a stand and call them all out and let them pay directly for their crimes or let them go,I hate this tepid water approach abeg! grin grin

Oga $200/day? Man you are on hell of a liar!! Please analyze how you get to spend that amount daily? Don't think we are fools, ok. Some of us on this forum are well read and have travelled wide. Only wasteful people get to spend that amount on a daily basis, but if you hustled for your money and went over to do your PG abroad with your hard earned money, you can't spend such an amount on a daily basis.

My brother, you are wrong.

First, cbn no longer approves form A dollars for student and housing.
My brother's form A has been sitting in the banknfor two goddam weeks.

Secondly, 1000 usd per month is too small considering the cost of living there.

Some weeks ago, I was in paris. I couldn't even pay my hotel bill of 1, 500 dollars.
I had to contact my brother in u.s. to wire 2000 DOLLARS to me.

The policy is evil and wicked.

Do you know the card rate is 240-250 naira per dollar? I mean when you withdraw from atm abroad, the rate is way higher than the official rate.

If we don't have dollars, why is estacode, subsidy andother top level government payments made in dollars?? The masses are just getting punished for the sins of the kleptocrats.
