odizeey:You have a good point and I acknowledge that what you said is true but we do want someone that will hit the ground running and change the situation of our team in the shortest time not someone who would still come in and understudy other teams and the way they play I know Pep is competent but he will not find it easy in the EPL |

capricornian:ok. But you people are just revolving around abt 5 coaches. They are other coaches with potentials. For me, lets employ a sensible, agile, young and upcoming coach and support him both financial and patiently. All dis old men time don pass. |

elampiro:Shago! I hear you o, Rooney`s worshipper. Better performance that wasn`t better than making us second on the league. That is your own definition of better. Arsenal have been playing better football since God knows, what has it won them? SMH. |

odizeey:I understand... it's just that top players sometimes if not every time consider the pedigree of the Manager before they decide to join a team. I think that was one of the causes of Moyes'es problems... He just could not attract good players not cos he wasn't good but the players considered his pedigree and achievement which unfortunately was almost nothing. We lost some players to Chelsea under JOSE even with our better salary packages If Spurs can hit it big with one Maga tonight who can buy the team and able to employ Pep or Jose, top players will follow them just cos they are proven winners... Just what I think |

From the moment we sacked David Moyes, without giving him ample time in my opinion (I always felt he should have finished the season and at worst, the next half season), we set off a chain... Any manager that comes in and not getting it right, has to go almost immediately (the Moyes treatment). But with all the beef I have for LVG, I do not support this now or anywhere in the near future. He should finish the season and then the board makes a decision after on if to give him any extra time. Same should apply for just about every struggling manager. If we do have to get a new manager, I'd rather it is someone relatively "fresh"... Blanc, Simeone, Laudrup... |

chrisley024:Mourinho no submit bid? It's not even bid that's the first step. |

tess1:You're are supporting my stance. RVP did better at Arsenal but they never reached 89 points, I doubt if they ever reached 80 points sef. 2011/2012 We scored more goals than 2012/2013 We had a far more superior goals difference. We reached 89 points in both seasons We had same number of wins - 28 We had same number of draws - 5 This we achieved with a high injury to the team in 2011/2012. We had a new goalkeeper. We had a new striker playing his first full season in EPL - Welbeck. Yet we did had better results. So without RVP we achieved better results in 2011/2012. RVP and Kagawa actually came to distort our free attacking movement from the deep which gave us better goals margin in games, not yeye slim victories the hyena introduced. Valencia - Nani - Rooney - Welbeck - Chicharito - Anderson gave us great results in 2011/12 despite the injuries and we finished with 89 points with a whopping +56 goals difference, scoring 89 goals. |

elampiro:Hmmmmm. . . . Any striker whose goals win you 9 games a season has had a FANTASTIC season. |

RuuDie:I was also of the opinion that Moyes should have been given time. At least to buy his own kind of players. His crime was that he didn't have a CV and he was never allowed to settle. The expectations were very high and after about 6 games, the pressure was already too high, and he had no defence because he had no CV. But LVG came and was given the best working conditions, low targets and no pressure. He was given 3 years to win the league. He was not criticized until this season. Luiz appeared to have now broken more records than Moyes. Moyes lost two matches in a row and he had committed an an obormination. Today LVG is giving us our worst run in 26 years. |

Ibime:And I am sure there are strikers who won more than that that didn't win the league. Also, Van Persie arrival didn't make us score more goals or win more matches, or win more points than we did the previous season before he arrived. 2009/2010 Rooney's goals made us win at least 10 matches yet we did not win the league. |

ElFenomeno1:Idiot...don't let me see you on this thread...you stink. In United's poorest state they have never been stuffed 4 unreplied goals...u want to win the league, you will beat Barca in the UCl

Mata they said should be in the hole, now united are in a hole. They claimed Rooney is the reason why united isn't doing well. They said tv25 is useless but we concede leSs with him. |
