weedtaker:Starting shirt in barca? Starting shirt at Bayern? Starting at Real Madrid ? He is not world class, only world class players can claim that. He is 26yrs and has 0 caps for Spain, there is a reason. |

afrodoc2:he's more of a box to box midfielder; that's his qualities. Will play better in 3-man midfield with quick short passes. I'm very okay with him in the team. |

But Chelsea's consistency must be praised since the beginning of this Session. One win each in August, September, October, November and December! What else can they wish for? ![]() |

afrodoc2:not getting capped for spain got nothing to do with his abilities, he has been a better player than fabregas dis season yet fab gets called up and he's dropped. He's good enough to get into the above mentioned teams, believe me. |

On his future: "I cannot have any influence on that. I can only work with my players and you have seen that my players are fighting for me and that they have given a good performance. Even after this result, the fans were applauding, so I cannot say that I am very much concerned but in this football world, you never know. But I have full confidence in the board and in my players. When the players can give such a performance under this pressure, then it is not any reason to resign for me. Maybe the media wants that but I shall not do that. It’s not a question of staying, it’s a question of fulfilling my contract."Story don change o! |

tess1: You just corroborated my stance that RVP didn't score when we extended our lead over City at the top of the league. On 20th January our lead was cut to 5 points according to your analysis. When Rooney returned and started scoring we extended our lead to an unassailable situation over City. I am sure we were 15 points over City at some time - the time RVP went on a long goals drought. Dadehmola:How? He corroborated my stance that RVP was not involved in goal scoring when we extended out lead over City. People said I argue too much and I left the forum hoping not to post for a long time, only for me to come to discover you and Afrodoc2 were claiming false victory. |

AdeLaNa1:I've been avoiding United thread or matches for the past 4 matches coz it's hurtful watching these piglets called Utd players; but I watched today's match coz of the much better line-up and I wasn't too disappointed, just a bit. I made some observations from today's matches: 1. Gaal is our problem. From not buying the better players, to choosing the wrong line-ups, to not having the balls to bench the wrong player, to being too stubborn to admit he's getting things wrong, to selling needful players, to using the right players in the WRONG position. In short, he has no football sense. 2. Young can't cross a ball to save his life. He's a fantastic player, plays with his heart on his sleeve, but his end product is frustrating. If we had someone like Valencia or Rafael to whip in those crosses, maybe, just maybe, things would've turned out different. 3. I'm sounding like a broken record, but Darmian is not a LB for fúck's sake. When will Gaal slip into coma so this madness could stop. Gaal is inadvertently setting this young man up for a fall anytime he plays him at the LB. Borthwick-Jackson sent more delicious cross than Darmian did. Darmian is not to be faulted though, he's no LB. 4. Borthwick-Jackson impressed today. With more substitution role and chances in the FA Cup, he could become another Evra or Shaw for us. 5. Our best DM pairing remains Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger and Herrera. Any other player in that midfield is a waste of time. Schweinsteiger has lost his pace, aggression and power, but he provides a better defense than moronic Carrick or FellaFOOL!! He attacks even at his slow pace and tries to put the opponent on pressure. 6. Schneiderlin should never miss any match again. He's our midfield kingpin. 7. We need to buy and do so fast in this TW. The first 2 places we'd address are a DM to partner Schneiderlin and a fleet-footed RW to provide speed and crosses to our attack. Mata should be injured if such a player comes coz that bastard called Gaal will probably not bench him. Then another striker should be bought and hopefully Rooney will get to see more bench or if possible, gets injured too. These two dumbasses are killing our attack ![]() 8. The boys played well today, though not as perfectly as I wanted. I hate Rooney presence in that team but for today, he played well but as usual, his flappy stomach and fat azz means Rooney can't score sitters for us. He fought bravely but missed chances that my grandmother will convert even while asleep. Rooney can't be our striker, full final stop!! 9. If we had continued with our pace and pressure of first-half, we'd have won. Second-half was a ghost of our first-half. 10. The greatest mistake Utd will make is allowing DDG go for £40M if the rumors are true. Any offer less than £60M should be seen as an insult. 11. If these players can be motivated enough to play with the mentality of the first-half, our injured players returned very fast, and if we make good purchase in the upcoming TW, I see us finishing strong when the season finally ends. |

chrisley024:Smalling was dribbled today na. He was dribbled two matches ago but Jones rescued him. Who doesn't get dribbled? Jones has to get match rhythm back, that's what Gaal did today with Blind who has played regularly available for the Center back position. Gaal also has a soft spot for Blind and Memphis. |

AdeLaNa1: What are you trying to say? Say it well let's know. What did the team achieve in four games without Rooney? One point from four matches with grossly uncoordinated attacking play. Rooney returned in the second half against Stoke and our game started making sense. |

elampiro:Jones the rescuer. He should rescue himself 1st from falling after being dribbled. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 10:19pm On Dec 28, 2015 |
chrisley024:Show us where he was dribbled? He was dribbled only once or twice in the last three matches. Same with Smalling. His few minutes today showed what he his made of even though he came on in a delicate time where a new defender shouldn't be introduced. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 10:24pm On Dec 28, 2015 |
Chrisley024, you no know ball. Phil Jones is the most difficult player to beat (dribble past) in Manchester United. His dribble past per game is 0.1, although it could go a little higher (to 0.2) when prorated to per minutes played. I don win again.
