Odunharry:I asked, what did we archive without Rooney starting in four games? 1 point with unforgivable uncoordinated attacking play. When he returned against Stoke, his hold up play and coordination greatly improved us. |

elampiro:This was what i highlighted in your first post which is the same with what you posted in you latest post. RVP was not involved in goalscoring when we stretched out lead over Man CityI don't think you understand what you posted. I wouldn't have responded to this your latest post because i already said i won't, knowing that you'll come up with another twist but i decided to because it's my son who is also a Man Utd fan who first saw and read this your response. He then came to me to ask me this simple comprehension question that "At what point did Man Utd extend/stretch their lead over Man City in 2012/13 season that RVP wasn't scoring? Was it at the time they added point(s) to their first lead at the top over Man City or after they had established and maintained the lead over Man City at the top for sometime?" I then asked for the reason for his questions. He then told me that i should come and read your response to my post. After reading your post, i laughed and laughed and laughed. I am now asking you the same question;"At what point did Man Utd extend/stretch their lead over Man City in 2012/13 season?" Answer the question the way you would've answer if you were answering a comprehension passage in WAEC examination and let fellow fans here give you a grade for your answer. |

tess1:You clearly told us we were just 5 points above City in January which was easy to recover or regain. Then RVP went dry from that period. When RVP didn't score we didn't lose matches to drop to 2nd place, instead we started winning more to stretch the lead over them until we find ourselves in an unassailable lead position. So how did RVP win the league? I don't think you realized that at some point we were 13-17 points above City before they recovered some points towards the end. I will need to week by week table adjustment to explain it better. You can see how you confirmed my statement. |

On his future : "I cannot have any influence on that. I can only work with my players and you have seen that my players are fighting for me and that they have given a good performance. Even after this result, the fans were applauding, so I cannot say that I am very much concerned but in this football world, you never know. But I have full confidence in the board and in my players. When the players can give such a performance under this pressure, then it is not any reason to resign for me. Maybe the media wants that but I shall not do that. It’s not a question of staying, it’s a question of fulfilling my contract." |

elampiro:A simple question that just needs a simple sentence and you are writing an epistle. All these still doesn't answer the question. Your statements RVP didn't score when we extended our lead over City at the top of the league."At what point did Man Utd extend/stretch their lead over Man City in 2012/13 season? Or better still, when did Man Utd go on top of Man City before extending their lead over them? |

bigkesh:Martial Practically ripped Iva, Mikel and Zouma yesterday(barring Zouma's timely block) except that, Martial kept cutting in between Iva and Zouma. The only chelsea player that tried to be on par with any united player yesterday was courtois. He tried getting on DDG's level but DDG bested him anyway. Pedro kept running around like one headless chicken. |

elampiro:He got Liverpool the FA cup and made them almost winners of the league, scoring a stunning 31 league goals in an average team and only losing it because of a useless slip from Gerard! He gave Barca a final cutting edge and grit they have always lacked playing Messi as a false 9 for a few years. I was sure MSN would end up the best attack in the world before they even kicked a ball. No wonder Enrique said "Suarez is a magnet for positivity" Suarez is the prince of strikers! |

tess1:You have answered this already. You already said we were 5 points ahead of City in January 2013. What you failed to understand is that were 15 points clear two months on from that time. On March 16th when Rooney again scored a late goal to send us 15 points clear at the top of the league in a difficult game against Reading we didn't deserve to win, after Everton beat City 2-0, Van Persie was on a goals drought. He only scored 1 goal in our two nil win over Everton during that period. That's about two months. Van Persie went on about 9 league games scoring 1 goal (1 goal in about 13 matches overall). |

elampiro:And if i ask u what Rooney did now, u'd start telling us of how he held up play, played more accurate passes and covered more distance on the pitch. BullShit!! A strikers main purpose is to score goals. Rooney is a striker. He aint scoring goals. He is useless to the team. Nothing concern us with distance covered and accurate passes. What we United fans want from Rooney is goals. And he's not delivering any..... Dont bother replying me. I'm not interested in any back and forth arguments today |

chrisley024:What happened in the last two matches? The only thing you will want to blame Jones for was when he went on tackle on a striker coming at him one vs one at full speed, with another opposing player running wide taking position to his right. He went on a tackle and got the ball, but the ball went loose with no one to clear off the 'piece'. At the time Smalling had left defence in anger to go play as an attacking midfielder. Jones was also just coming from a long term injury and he was left exposed by the DMs and left back player. In same match, Smalling was beaten easily before that incident but Jones covered for him. Yesterday, Smalling was easily waved off the road, but De Gea saved the shot. What I have observed is that Smalling moves out more while playing with Jones. The first few minutes Jones came on yesterday, Smalling moved out about three times, but this time he returned home quickly. |

Elxandre:So Suarez won one trophy in his many years at Liverpool, yet you credited him as the one who won treble for Barca? I am not disputing that Suarez is a great striker. My arguement is that he didn't win the treble for Barca as you claimed. Do you know when Suarez scored 31 goals, Sturridge scored 21 goals despite having limited appearances due to injuries? Sturridge was almost as good as Suarez. Sturridge was the one who tore our defence apart at Old Trafford. I think Gerald, playing as a center midfielder won the highest Assists that season and he also scored 13 goals. If Sturridge stayed fit, Liverpool would have won the league even if Gerald slipped 7 times in the season. |

AdeLaNa1:What was your reaction when Martial and Lingard threw away great chances against PSV at Old Trafford? We could have won 3-0, but you guys remained mute hoping it was Rooney who missed those chances on a day we should have really won. |
