Bigkesh What if the ball has gone in off the post? You're not serious at all for giving that goal post excuse. Hilarious ![]() |

sinizia:If we lose to Swansea dis weekend, and LVG is still our manager wen we play Sheffield in the FA Cup nxt week, i think its safe to say LVG ll finish the season as our manager. Buteven if we end up winning the league, madness is when Woodward and the Board allow him to see out the rest of his contract. 2. Young can't cross a ball to save his life. He's a fantastic player, plays with his heart on his sleeve, but his end product is frustrating. If we had someone like Valencia or Rafael to whip in those crosses, maybe, just maybe, things would've turned out different.Young has his shortcomings. But he has always been more deadly on the LW. RB and LB is a no no for him. Remember wen he was subbed for Depay against Liverpool and he immediately won the freekick that led to our first goal. Or how he turned Bellerin or whoever played RB for Arsenal last season like Eba at OT. Young can be awesome when he wants to. 3. I'm sounding like a broken record, but Darmian is not a LB for fúck's sake. When will Gaal slip into coma so this madness could stop. Gaal is inadvertently setting this young man up for a fall anytime he plays him at the LB. Borthwick-Jackson sent more delicious cross than Darmian did. Darmian is not to be faulted though, he's no LB.LVG has always had a knack for doing the most bizarre and senseless things. So I'm not surprised here. 4. Borthwick-Jackson impressed today. With more substitution role and chances in the FA Cup, he could become another Evra or Shaw for us.I really hope so. The rest of our youth team also need to step up. I'd like to see Perreira get more playing time too. 5. Our best DM pairing remains Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger and Herrera. Any other player in that midfield is a waste of time. Schweinsteiger has lost his pace, aggression and power, but he provides a better defense than moronic Carrick or FellaFOOL!! He attacks even at his slow pace and tries to put the opponent on pressure.Herrera is not the kind of player a team like United deserve. But right now, he's d best we got. A pairing of Herrera/Schneiderlin in a 4-2-3-1 or Herrera/Schneiderlin/Schweinsteiger in a 4-3-3 seems to work for us. But LVG is just too stûpid to see dat... 6. Schneiderlin should never miss any match again. He's our midfield kingpin. We started this after the Arsenal game. Now we are here. To cut the short story long, Nothing has Changed. 7. We need to buy and do so fast in this TW. The first 2 places we'd address are a DM to partner Schneiderlin and a fleet-footed RW to provide speed and crosses to our attack. Mata should be injured if such a player comes coz that bastard called Gaal will probably not bench him. Then another striker should be bought and hopefully Rooney will get to see more bench or if possible, gets injured too. These two dumbasses are killing our attackRooney can never be benched for a prolonged time like other players. But seeing Mane at least for the rest of dis season ll make me really happy. At least, this lineup should be able to take us places this season na.... _____________Rooney_____________ Martial_______Mata________Mane ______Herrera______Morgan______ ____________Defence_______________ _______________GK_______________ 8. The boys played well today, though not as perfectly as I wanted. I hate Rooney presence in that team but for today, he played well but as usual, his flappy stomach and fat azz means Rooney can't score sitters for us. He fought bravely but missed chances that my grandmother will convert even while asleep. Rooney can't be our striker, full final stop!!Rooney is dead and finished. But some people here would ve us believe PSG and Madrid are still looking to sign Rooney. Na Joke of the year be dat if u ask me ![]() 9. If we had continued with our pace and pressure of first-half, we'd have won. Second-half was a ghost of our first-half.The greatest mistake we'll make is allowing one of the best GKs in the world leave us. We should tie dat boy down to a life time commitment to United. Things ll turn out good for us eventually. And its definitely not gonna be up to 9 yrs. Like it was for some people 11. If these players can be motivated enough to play with the mentality of the first-half, our injured players returned very fast, and if we make good purchase in the upcoming TW, I see us finishing strong when the season finally ends.[/quote]Exacly. But where the motivation wan come from?? LVG?? I laugh in FeeLawSawFee |

Elxandre:Chikena! The borded is the obvious reason why we have to be careful who we credit with winning a trophy for a team. Bale was EPL player of the year in 2012/13 but he couldn't have won the title for Tottenham in 5 more attempts. There are some matches Ronaldo won for us between 2007/2008, for instance when he took the ball from when past markers one by one and entered the box to slot in from a solo effort all the way from nearly half line. Messi did same for Barca again and again. Maradona for Argentina and Napoli. Pele for Brazil and his local club etc. Players like Inzaghi, RVP, Chicharito just wait to be fed, and when they score 25 goals, some say they won the league? In a team that was already capable of wining the league. How can anyone say that? Suarez and Sturridge still good small, they can make things happen outside the box and score from such moves. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Elxandre(m): 3:30pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
elampiro:Take an inzaghi from a team, and see how you miss those 'easy' goals he scores. I'd like to mention that RVP isn't a poacher. Do you watch football at all? ![]() RVP at his peak was known for scoring stunners even Messi/CR7 would be proud of. Lol Have you forgotten his trademark volleys so soon? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 3:42pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
Elxandre:RVP is a poacher. I can produce his goals/shots from inside the 6 yard vs 18 yards vs outside of the box. Any poacher relies on a solid team (solid 9 men behind) to shine. The long pass from Rooney RVP scored against Villa was one of those few he scored outside of the box. We see average players score such or even better every season in EPL. |

In terms of impact he has as big as an impact as anyone I can imagine. Cantona was an incredible impact player and I have been very, very lucky, I have had some fantastic strikers right through, probably 10 great strikers at the club. "I think we had an expectation. His performance for Arsenal last year was sensational and I remember Arsene saying to me 'he's a better player than you think' when we concluded the deal and I think he was right. He's in his mature years and winning the league meant the world to him." "It was a goal of the century for me. It was a marvellous hit, head down, over the ball, perfect timing, a magnificent strike. He's been unbelievable, his early form in the first six months was fantastic. He had the spell where he didn't score but he was unbelievable tonight." SIR ALEX FERGUSONS WORDS after the same RVP had just scored a hat trick to finally guarantee the title! Now compare the context of his words in relation to your bolded arguments! No wonder the only person that normally gets you is that further maths guy! 'Great Analyst' my ass! Give it a rest bro! With all due respect YOU KNOW LITTLE!!! |

elampiro:Elampsbaba, it is obvious what/who your preferences are however,it will be nice of you not to right off the brilliance of the so called poachers of this world or try to sideline the impact they could have in a game. And,if memory serves me right the earlier part of RVPs career was from the flanks and not as a 9. You trying to sell the point of,all poachers rely on a solid team to perform won't fly braaaah....! As every member of the team needs to be solid in order for the non-poachers and poachers to score goals. If you ask my sincere opinion aspa if RVP was " partly the major reason" or " the major reason" why you guys won the league that year,I will respond by saying,YES.....! RVP was "the major reason" you guys won it,even with the poachers goals... |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 4:20pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
Anyone who tries to play down RVP's impact in our 2012/2013 title wining side is clearly sick in d head. Its dat simple....... |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 4:31pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
diggz:I am not writing off the poachers but a poacher cannot single handedly win a match. They rely on suppliers. Unlike others who make it and score it. I respect those ones. I beg we would have comfortably won the league without RvP. We did better without him the previous season. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by diggz: 5:22pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
elampiro:Hmmmm...! Bro if I prefer/respect a player like ronaldo De lima more to inzaghi ? I will say a big YES........! However,I cannot emphatically say the poachers who need suppliers cannot single handedly win a match because I have certain preferences for players who can create and score. That will be a careless statement bro and I will tell you this; ur non-poachers required a certain level of supply from other players in the for of a simple pass to release them, movements to create space for them to operate, protection etc.....I am not good with the epistles so I will finish up by saying, the non-poachers and the poachers do need their teammates and both can be match winners or single handedly win matches(using ur terms). |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 6:13pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
diggz:Before we go further, I would like you to see this great solo goal by Cristiano Ronaldo. It was February 24th 2007, we needed the win badly to maintain our slim lead on the log over Chelsea. The match was deadlocked, I think it was 87th minute and Ronaldo delivered this from before half line, and then scored. m.youtube.com/watch?v=cTHVc7NHyuk m.youtube.com/watch?v=cTHVc7NHyuk Remember, even when Ronaldo is not in the score sheet, he constantly does these things and tearing opposition apart for the team mates, creating enormous space. This is how to credit players for winning matches. ............. Ronaldo Di Lima is not a poacher or not such a poacher. Ronaldo Di Lima has similar goals as the one above. Something players like Inzhaghi and RVP can never do. Ronaldo Di Lima can receive a pass 50 yards or more yards away, pace forward and even dribble one marker to finish off. He did it many times in his clubs. I remember Ronaldo Di Lima vs out defence in Olympics. He used Celestine Babayaro's wing coming from the deep, after Brazil went one goal up, Taribo was dragged away from the center back to go cover on the wings as Di Lima was running rampage from the wings into the box. |

chrisley024:No. Chicharito is closer in style to Inzaghi. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by codedguy1(m): 8:39pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
Elampiro, your arguement does not make sense especially when you make it look like a player who is a poacher is not a complete player. Players have different styles and strength and that's what a good coach sees and brings together to make a good team. If you were a coach you will buy 11 messis as your perfect team. All of them can dribble from half way line and scre and then substitute one of them with a phil Jones kinda player atleast that would show some sorta variety in your team. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 8:57pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
codedguy1:My argument makes perfect sense if understood that the argument was about a player winning the league for a team like Manchester United. RVP was a top 9 who did his job there, nothing much different from what Kane did in Spurs last season. If RVP were in Spurs, his 26 goals wouldn't take then anywhere. But he went to a team with ready to win the league. Manchester United 2007 Champion 2008 Champions 2009 Champions 2010 lost by 1 point to Chelsea 2011 Champions 2012 Lost by goals difference to City Then some claim Van Persie won it for United in 2013. What a senseless thing to say. Anyone who said that should have his brain examined. Even if RVP scored 40 goals, Arsenal wouldn't be Champions. |

Dadehmola:Where have you been all these while? 1. Injuries. Rooney himself had to play in midfield while Carrick and Fletcher were defenders. Half of the team was injured for a long spell. Our worst injury season. 2. SAF not listing Rooney against Blackburn at Old Trafford. 3. De Gea debut season with blunders. 4. Welbeck's debut season. 5. SAF unnecessarily rested Scholes against Newcastle. However, Man City had a super season. All their players were hungry for the title. Balotelli did not cause trouble to team mates and management. Yet we got 89 points and a massive +56 goals net. |
