You got to NIMC website and do ur pre-enrolment registration then at the end you are to print out ur registration barcode to tke to any local government for final registration then u will be given a temporary card immediately or asked to come bck for it.

You just have to there early. You'll fill a form.
They'll collect the form.
And then you wait for your turn.

After this, your biometric features and you're then given a temporary slip.


You'll have to come back later (a day or two) or stay there immediately and collect the original slip.


This will contain your National Identification Number (NIN).

And then you'll join the waiting queue on when the I'd card will be ready.

Enter any NIMC office in your town, tell them you re their for National ID reg, they will give you a form to fill (which may take close to 15min to Finish filling). after that, the for. will be used to register you and a slip will be awarded, this is what will be used to collect the real ID when it's out....
No fee is attached except if you want to laminate the slip that will be giving to you....

Just Normal information is requlred, though detailed beyond may be the ones you are used during school days with thumb printing, genotype, phenotype photograph to be taken while registering and any previously valid ID card. I had mine since last year but still waiting for it. Although I indended doing it again because the set I had mine with have gotten theirs but mine was nowhere to be found and the demand for it is intimidating when I go around

Don't know if this may help but... All u need is a form of identity, be it student ID card to Driving License.Take it to ur local govt Secretariat and ask to be registered.
Btw , I did mine sept last yr and i was only issued a print slip pending the d availability of d original card. Up till now, it hasn't been ready. So its a long process.
