So far so good I do think Pmb did well in many of the questions raised. He may not have spoken like an intellectual but his commitment and sincerity of purpose is unquestionable. |

735i:The president answered most questions genuinely according to his plan, he meant not be a swift in explanation like femi kayode or Obi ezekwesili but better than the previous mediachat with Gej. Nigerians didn't force president on him, Nigerians voted for him because of his credibility in government and his non tolerance for corruption. |

Adminisher:You don't know jack on this one. Trump is a smart dude to those who should know. You don't become the GOP presidential frontrunner without having brains. Trump has made some somewhat tendentious remarks but nonetheless his profile keeps rising. Who among Carson, Jeb, Rubio could have survived the backlash of views Trump has espoused but yet his popularity is still soaring? Americans know a smart person when they see one... |

MaziOmenuko:You're indirectly calling me a tout. Anyway, I'm not an IPOB member and have never been. You can't wave off those guys like that(not supporting them either) cos a good number of people are backing them back home while your creator governors and lawmakers have been ignorantly silent. Every Igbo person has an opinion and if my opinion towards the well-being of the Igbo nation tallies with some of those of the IPOB's, does it make me an IPOB youth? |

i just dont know why i like and i think this mans administration is going to be wonderful but i was disappointed in this chat in two ways 1)Hes response to defying court orders in which i totally support prosecution of NK and Dauki 2)The inability of The Media in throwing questions about Firing of unarmed citizens. How can a group of professional and trained reputable journalists not ask the president on his thought of using live ammunitions on unarmed citizens during protests when water cannons, tear gases, rubber bullets and other methods of dispersing unlawful protests are available still beats me? where they intimidated? ![]() |

[quote author=Ndolarr post=41499432]. plendil:GEJ's last Presidential media chat caused me to think very deep after it ended. I pondered on the idea of how a so-called PhD holder could babble and not answer questions in the most appropriate manner. Sentiments aside, I'd rather have an uneducated babble than a PhD holder who could only profess a goat and yam theory. And to think that Jonathan was not grilled as this but still fumbled is not just laughable but sickening. Another is the one with Christiane Amanpour of CNN. |

what exactly are we to take home from the disposition of Mr president I'm this chat ? Are we justifying the fact that a sitting democratically elected president is giving approval for lawlessness and flaggerant disobedience of court orders? What exactly do wewant to illustrate by the way he answered questions? Are we supposed to clap for him for visibly expressing anger (because it was written all over his face) over issues relating to his own subject and an ordinary citizen, hence practically cynically pronouncing them guilty even when the court was yet to decide their fate? For goodness sake are we I a banana Republic? A president is supposed to do better than that, some form of decorum respect for his subjects and most importantly the rule of law should always be his watchword. The most appalling part of the problem we have found ourselves in this country is that the majority of youths do not know their left From Their right hence these politicians her away with abnormal behaviors, there is not well informed and constructive criticism. Going through the comments on some presidential chat threads here only exposes how uninformed most of us Nigerian youths are and hence the serious need for a general reorientation. We are |

arresa:My brother, you are clearly a tribalist. I am not. Probably you think i am Ibo, well i am not. A president of any nation shouldn't group a whole ethnic group together and show such displeasure towards them. He is the President, we all look to him and watch his statements... A simple wrong sentence from him has the power to fuel mass violence in this country. Remember what happened in South Africa. Thank you. |
