Again, the above is the reason he's an hyena. When he was in Arsenal, he alone blocked the route to goals and coped individuali stats to himself at the expense of team mates. He left Arsenal and everyone suddenly began learning how to score, they hardly struggle for top 4 finish as before while crowing it with trophies.

The closer you play to a goal, the more likely you get more Assists. When you play inside the box, you are likely to increase your Assists. There's likely going to be a dropped ball or unclear loose ball that is meant to be laid for a team mate. Also when you take corner kicks for your team.

You're the one twisting it. I said RVP didn't win the league because we had a better results the previous season without him. He walked into a solid team ready to win the league baring injuries as DDG had matured, so with Welbeck.

Then I went further to to prove RVP didn't win the league, that we extended our lead between January and March winning 21 points in 8 matches even though RVP scored just one goal. Just imagine if we lost 5 of the matches RVP went dry. So he cannot be credited with winning the league.

I brought in Rooney to prove that he led the goals during that important period RVP had a drought. That doesn't mean he won all the matches. RVP too did not win all our matches prior to that period. I want to believe he didn't win us up to 30 points all season. I haven't done the calculations though. Yet we won the league with 89 points, same feet we achieved previously without him with better scoring form.

I am yet to see any stats which shows Van Persie won the league. He scored just 26 goals. In Arsenal he scored 30 and couldn't win the league for Arsenal. Suarez scored 31 goals and couldn't win the league for Liverpool. So how did 26 goals become a league winner while?


RVP was just an opportunists who rode on the solidity of United team to gain an EPL medal. If he didn't come we would have won the league with 100 points instead of 89 points because we had far less injuries than when we finished 89*points the previous seasons and De Gea and Welbeck had matured.

You don't become an hyena in one season or half way into a season. However, Rooney average pass per match is still very high despite his poor form. It means he is participating, only that he is not performing. His feet are very slow this season, coupled with our system which gives too few chances in a game.

When you look Van Persie hatrick against Arsenal, on 12th minute he missed a point blank chance from about 4 yards with goalkeeper at the other end of the goal. Then he scored a tap in into an empty net on 35th minute. In Gaal's style today, that second opportunity wouldn't have come to lift the striker, and I doubt if we have had a chance to tap into an empty net this season.

Manchester United are ready to trigger Felipe Anderson’s £35 million buy-out clause and make the Lazio star their first major signing of the January transfer window, Goal can confirm.

United first identified the Brazil international as a target during the early weeks of Louis van Gaal’s tenure but a disastrous run of eight games without a win has prompted Old Trafford chiefs to revisit their interest in the 22-year-old in a bid to revive their season.

Van Gaal and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward oversaw a summer spend of close to £100 million but are ready to break the bank again in order to add some attacking impetus to a team that has struggled in front of goal.

Fresh negotiations over a deal for Anderson began 10 days ago around the time Woodward, who is driving the deal for the former Santos playmaker, gave his backing to the beleaguered Van Gaal.

United are prepared to meet the buy-out clause and will pay £25 million up front for a player who only made his senior Brazil debut back in June.

Despite Anderson's lack of international pedigree, United are confident the size of the fee and his two-and-a-half years experience of European football with Lazio will see a work permit secured without fuss.

Van Gaal, who recently confirmed he would not be resigning despite increasing speculation around his future, identified a lack of speed and imagination as a key problem in his side earlier in the season.

Summer signings Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial have impressed only sporadically, while Van Gaal is still struggling to get the best out Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney.

The English transfer window opens on January 2, the same day United host Swansea City and the club are confident of concluding a deal for Anderson in the early part of next week.
