This kind of scenario commonly occurs when a lady gets pregnant out of wedlock. Basically, such girls are sent to the village few weeks into their pregnancy, especially when the pregnancy isn't physically obvious. This is mostly done out of shame and embarrassment on the part of the girl's parents and family.
