I use srt 4922a and I don’t experience this problem they are talking about. I am still using the first Powervu Software. Maybe you guys should try downgrading first.
Lesson: Don't upgrade your decoder if you are not in serious need of the update. Some people update for update sake. Updating comes with advantages and disadvantages.

If your dish is 90cm or less, you need to try 1 metre, most people because of location find it difficult to achieve with 90cm.

Thank you ayolact but I was actually hunting for NileSAT at 7w. I did not even notice that it was eutelsat 7e I was using to track since it is simply a ku band.

@odilibe, blexonmak, am facing one challeng with srt 4672 mytv acredited decoder, most of the TP of the old mytv channels, the signal strenght is less than the signal quality which is unsual for strong decoders, i have upgraded the decoder, cross check the diseqc switch, these items are ok, but am thinking of LNBF, could it be the problem?, cos these TP is not poping green 12.722 H 26.657

For example, I can't find the ABS3 satellite, and I really need my BBC, star movies back, so I need to know how to find this satellite.

On your decoder, locate Menu --Installations-manual scan-- then choose any KuBand satellite, press a button to add Tp,add the frequency of Star movies on Abs(ignore the name of the satellite u choose) then save,now u can track

Incase of next time, this is someone that does not know or seen abs on his decoder before, therfore as u have told him how to go about it, you should also help him with d tp of star movies on d same abs sat, so dat he won't have to come back again for d tp of star movies on d same satellite again.. That's how to explain to a novice. Want to know too though

I was hoping I could get a way to get the satellite, so I could just auto scan to see if I could get the channels if luckily my dish is in that direction.

The guy misunderstood ur conical scalar ring that boost signal 4 ordinary attached scalar ring that hold lnbf.
