At this point in time, i'd say English league players are gonna be quite expensive compared to the bargains we can get out there...
I really don't know what our scouts are doing at this point...

How do you know the players we might sign won't go on to be better in performance than both vidic and Evra. You are using hindsight to assess.

Buying is a risk whether within the EPL or outside. That's what we must understand. But a club like United having 250M to give to LvG should be attracting tested players regardless of where they are coming from. It still doe not guaranty anything. Remember the Forlans and Verons.

Maybe those sites actually need to be shut down when they start giving biased and sentimental ratings. How Rooney who played fairly ok with his goal have a 8.4 while Martial who had a better all round play with Goal and an assist have a lower 8.1 is still a mystery, except I watched a diff match.

For me, Mane simply isnt good enough to start at Man utd. ..under normal circumstances.

I have never & would never like players whose major strengths are pace, power & brute force.

Mahrez would definitely be a better option - his tactical awareness is way better than Mane's & of course, his technique is there for all to see.

It's 3-4-3

Their rating is still the most credible somewhat. Sometimes it's a bit screwed. For instance Rooney rated above Martial. That's because it's done on standard metrics. There are at least 200 items/activities of players it measures based on the set metrics. Goals, Assists, shots, shots on target, dribblings, tackles, Clearances, Duels won, key passes etc.

Rooney had 8 shots, three on target. Four were going on target before they were blocked, only 1 off target. He had 3 key passes. He gave another laid pass that didn't lead to a shot due to no fault of his. His accurate passes in the final third were high. Despite playing in a heat zone, only thee players had more accurate passes than Rooney

Blind also recorder high rating. This was due to his vision, not necessarily strong at his primary job. He completed 5 long balls. Perhaps most of them went to the final 3rd. Competed 2 dribbles and had one key pass.

Yes, LVG is a very expensive experiment. Hughes (even Moyes) can achieve more than him with far less resources.

Rojo will fill the Vidic void. He is a CB not a LB/LWB.
