some ladies pack out from their parents' house and decide to stay alone. Probably because they have grown older, or maybe they are capable of fending for themselves (thanks to their good salaries), or because they need freedom and need to be free from distractions. Meanwhile, my elder in her mid twenties wants to stay on her own, but she's been deterred by my parents with so many reasons they came up with. So, what are your opinions on this? It is depending on the parents. A lot of parents give so many restrictions and lines to their grown up kids hence making them want to leave because there are some things you can never achieve in their house especially if you want to have something in your pocket before getting married. On the other hand, the attitude some single girls living alone display will leave you speechless, so you can't really blame parents for being uptight. But I believe that if you have trained your child well, let her go find her feet if she chooses to. |
