The price of one square metre of land in Eko Atlantic city is between $1,500 and $2,200. How many of you here can afford it? And just so you know, your average room size is about 12 square metres.

As far as I am concerned, Eko Atlantic is a total waste of time, money and efforts. There are so many lands to be developed onshore, why go offshore? The money could have been spent fixing other infrastructures like multiple railway lines from the mainland to the Island - VI, Ajah, Lekki.., the 4th mainland bridge etc.

Olodo do you know it is privately funded even though the idea was birthed by the state government? so the SG should dictate to private individuals how they spend their money? you should ask for a refund of your school fees

If we follow yoruba line of reasoning, Gwari ppl are the most sucessful tribe in Nigeria, Abuja is Gwari land. Lol

Sometimes the best thing is to ignore them....the most successful tribe yet they have the highest area boys and rascals in southern Nigeria

I hate bragging

Oh yes Abuja gwari is the most successful tribe with their logic

Ask them how many of them have property at the eko city or how many can afford the rent ?

Happy 2016

People like you cause problems unecessarily.Development is a very good thing which every sensible human being desires, but bringing up one of the issues of disunity in Nigeria tells how troublesome you are.Is Eko atlantic city project going on in all the Yoruba states?Always think before you talk so as to avoid unecessary tribal e war.

even though I'm yoruba, i supported Gej till the end and i still support him, you can check my comments to confirm but for you say Mynd44 was not being neutral is just ridiculous. what do you expect him to say? lets be honest with ourselves for once

We Igbos should do more to develop the east cos with the way Lagos is going it won't be funny if every one migrates there cos of opportunities. They are busy gearing themselves for investment and all we do is to make noise about secession. We should please secure our future. Lagos is truly beautiful, I didn't say all southwest oo[.. Only Lagos mehnnnn.

It was only a matter of time before IPOB youths showed up

Threads like this give them simultaneous heartache, heartburn and constipation

While generations of IPOB are struggling to construct simple pathways, Yorubas are building edifices and world class infrastructures.

To be fair, a similar project is going on in Enugu - the Centenary City project. But Eko Atlantic is on a more massive scale though.

My Bros, Abuja is not Enugu.

You see the problem with you people ..when has asking a question become an insult ...the way you guys reason is funny. It is peoples fathers that have plot there and they are non Yoruba and Yoruba

My father doesn't have a plot there so I asked him if his father has a plot there . that is not insult it is a question

It's like somebody claiming that Lagos is their land yet the person has no half plot anywhere in Lagos

So how is Lagos is his land

One thing about capitalism is that rich people buy up the choice places leaving indegenes to wretched places
Eg new York ..American Indians live in reservation
Now Lagos ...the rich are buying up the choicest property

It is not about the tribes its about the money you have

So claiming my tribe or anything without buying upbtye place is to me

Crazy

This is pure indigenous project. handle by mostly Nigeria Engineers, Architects and allied, support and assist expertraits. Please ask questions when you dont know about something. Dont just come to this forum to assume or abuse anybody. I have been working with the group handling this project for more than 9 years and come July this year will be my 5 years on this project as one of the project architect. I am pure and applied Ibadan man, a Nigerian.
