tuale4u:This is one of the best write ups I have seen on this subject. All those shouting that Buhari is not complying with court orders are doing it out of crass ignorance. This new method of prosecution is the best. Since birds have learnt to fly without perching, hunters have learnt to shoot without missing. ![]() |

hopilo: Amaechi didn't wait to be invited. He went to Efcc forces avenue down here in Ph and answered questions to petition against him. The mere fact that nothing has surfaced so far suggests that the petition us nothing but a heap of rubbish. |

dearsly:You have time for that low IQ fellow. He ended up serially contradicting himself. Noisemakers all over the place. Group thinking and herd mentality is the mainstay of all APC supporters. I hope they all live to see the inescapable consequences of Buhari's misadventure. This is Nigeria where people hardly forget. Buhari will go down in history as the most vindictive leader to rule this country. He can keep deceiving his thoughtless followers that he is on an anti-corruption crusade. Any discerning person does not need any visual aid to see beyond the veneer/red herring. Let him continue the purging of opposition elements but certainly the chicken will come home to roost. What do you make of the likes of Fashola, Amaechi being appointed ministers while their counterparts in the PDP are being harassed with the machineries of the state? Even the Tinubus, Atikus, Obasanjos of this world are now reverred saints pontificating and preaching rectitude. We are watching... |

Ojayk: For sylvia, under Jonah-daft presidency, he bundled the entire investigation and sylvia was charged to court. Court says he has no case. Again, efcc being dissatisfied went to court again to charge him and again another judge says he has no case. Are u not among the lots criticising Buhari for disobeying court orders? Please what else do u expect from Buhari as regards sylvia |

Demdem:Fault your post? No Sir! All I have is disdain for folks who refused to do even a scintilla of critical thinking but choose to ride on the wave of the cheap popularity available with the hoipoloi... You can continue sounding off for the sole love of the sound of your voice. You will ultimately shout yourself hoarse because discerning people have left the public for you for the fear of getting subsumed. |

maestroferddi: No one is brainwashed here, it's u that is so daft not to recognise that this is what this nation needs now. In other climes like China, these fools would have been longed killed or they themselves commit suicide for corruptly eating from our collective yams. We Av tried other means before now, it never worked. So far, sanity is fast coming back into our public finance. All thanks to the General methodology. If u aren't a yam eater ursef, I see no reason why u shouldn't be comfortable with it. Efcc will fish out u thieves one by one. |

todayboy:I don't think you understand the frustration of a man given a basket to fetch water from a far away stream. The more effort he puts in to the venture the farther he gets away from the objective of filling the big jar at home. If Bihari starts with economic engineering and financial management while keeping potential Dasukis (leaking baskets) who may be lurking in his government or civil service in place and with the old idea of no consequences for any wrong doing by public officials, every effort at economic reforms and management will yeild no results or at best severely limited success. Then we will whine about brilliant plans but poor implementation all over again. |

Demdem:You are not thinking! It might surprise you that a lot of people even in the PDP initially supported Buhari because most Nigerians have grown disillusioned with politicians of every hue. We expected Buhari to have had a clean break with the past by not allowing the old order to dominate his government and policies. But what did we get? We bargained for a fair and broad-minded leader willing to carry all parts of the country along in the quest for a new Nigeria which all well-meaning citizens desire. What we got is a sectional leader intent on exacerbating the sensitive cleavages responsible for our inability to achieve national integration. What we got is a leader who is hiding under the guise of fighting corruption to emasculate his perceived enemies. What we got is a leader who has promoted cronysm to an unprecedented level. Members of the opposition are being hunted down while corrupt elements in the APC who facilitated Buhari's ascension are being rewarded with sensitive political positions. Even the Holy Book admonished that judgement should start in the house of God. What the foregoing implies is that perception is very fundamental in a reform-targeting set-up. Perception clearly appears to be the least of Buhari's concerns and that is why the so-called anti-coruption crusade will remain political witch-hunting by other means. |

koboko69:If we buy your explanation for the obvious selective prosecution, can you then explain why former governor Sule Lamido and his children are being prosecuted for embezzling Jigawa State money? Buhari is not yet fighting corruption. He is witch-hunting. It's obvious. |

You must be a rank nicompoop to attempt to deify a mere mortal whose remit cannot, in all probability, exceed 8 short years. I never stated or implied that I voted for Buhari. Infact I have never believed in him. The fact that the factors responsible for my stance have been brought to the fore in less than one year of Buhari's presidency is another matter I may not have time for now. I was expecting you to have had the presence of mind to have fathomed/reckoned that people like me did oppose Buhari on personal considerations but were concerned with his history/antecedents. As the good citizens that we are, we gave Buhari the benefit of doubt to disprove/allay our misgivings. But so far, Buhari has confirmed all our fears and then some. I am sure that most of the misguided elements like you who are worshipping Buhari in his demonstration of base impunity will also join in condemning him when the comeuppance visits him and the APC. If had any sense, you would have learned from what happened with Jonathan that no-one is infallible and as such know that worshipping leaders should be reprehensible. |

Demdem:from the EFCC and ICPC act. The other body is the police special fraud unit. All these bodies are are controlled by the federal government or more like a political tool. That was why they were dead under good luck and only resurrected under Buhari in order to deal with opposition. It's only under Obasanjo when Nuhu ribadu was their chairman that they really worked. At least all the people they investigated or jailed E.g tafa balogun, bode george, alamiesieha were all PDP members. Ribadu investgated about 34 sitting governors excluding Yaradua and Donald Duke. That was what was called corruption fighting. Not pursuing opposition up and down. Let EFCC peobe the accounts of Lagos state or kano or osun state. That is why they call them anti corruption agency of the government. So be informed. APC and Buhari is playing on Nigerians intelligence by saying they should bring evidence. It's tyecwork of EFCC to investigate and prosecute. The only person I can vouch for on APC is yemi osinbajo. Even Buhari has a lot of skeleton in his cupboard. Just that he didn't amass so much wealth like Babangida and obasanjo. |
