Fine they must have been given pre-information about the demolition was the notice long enough! Was there any provision for them as regards where they could safe keep their goods and properties?

Come to think of it, if u are a shop owner who just fully stocked his/her shop wit goods like one of those persons out dere and you came dis morning only to find out dat your shop and goods inside of it worth millions of naira has bee burnt down by a govt you voted for what will you do?

Have you also had any thought that some of those shops burnt down, serves as a house to some of the owners too?

Thank God u agreed with me dat they must v been warned so, d issue of whether d msg was passed across to them on time is never an issue. U knw Nigerians wit their 'last minute'mentality, they must v disregarded govt earlier warning thinking n hoping dat there wl b an extension of date. Again, I dnt think it is d responsibility of govt to provide alternatives for d shop owners. If uar one of d shop owners, wil u not find a place to pack ur things even when u knw dat d demolition is imminent?
