I had the new rules by the NEW Controller of Custom with regards to sized items such as cars is to ask the owner to come forward and pay the right duties and tariffs on those items and take them back.

But government officials will still import bmw, ford and Mercedes cars and nothing will happen or is it only Toyota cars dat was banned?

If this items especially cars are going to be auctioned to the society which they deemed it is (items) contraband why seize it at the first place, truth be told they refused to settle, still on corruption matter, if the said Items are contraband,then the customs should make a stern warning by burn them all including the cars no matter what it cost, otherwise it's pointless seizing them

God no go punish any customs officer for doing his legal work... Na anybody send u say make u smuggle motor without paying duty The way police man dey catch thief na so customs dey seize smuggled goods, no difference between the two... It all depends on the level of uя civilisation... An armed robber and a smuggler are all the same criminals in the eyes of the law.

1st paragraph, you asking where to buy the vehicles at auction.

2nd paragraph you asking how to get a job.

Anyway I pray you get a very good job soon, so that you can buy a spanking new car.

While our crude and diesel are successfully siphon from south to northern region, precisely taraba state and smuggle in tons to cameroon and chad without any interference...

The Government should just send the cloths and other needed materials to Internally displaced persons camp. Also Orphanages and any place help is needed in terms of clothing etc.

As for the vehicles, it should be assigned to government agencies for operations. Eg the jeeps could be given to the customs service to increase the number of operational vehicles. Even the other cars, not SUV alone can be operational vehicles. For use by plain cloth operatives operations or maybe assigned to health workers operating in remote locations for movement of vaccines or health care services etc.

Please and please government should not auction the items or destroy them. They are valuable items that could be used to alleviate or improve the services of government officials and boost operations.

Auction thing is a known wuru wuru thing that brings insignificant value to the government accounts. They should service the vehicles and assimilate them for government use abeg !!!! Also not for the big boys but field operations o!!!! Also it should be processed and done swiftly to avoid the items getting damaged or spoil in the impound.
